Since Dw and Emma have gone to Africa I have thought of all kinds of projects to do. We bought a bunch of plants and decided we would do some gardening. Unfortunately we don’t have a garden plot all dug up so we decided that we would plant in large planters. The kids loved helping me and we worked hard. In the end we have about 8 tomato plants, 3 zuchinni plants, a watermelon plant (we have had lots of watermelon plants over the year and never had ONE success – ugh! I planted over 100 onions and some spices like cilantro, parsley, and basil. Then I planted lots of flowers. I love flowers and it just makes it feel so cozy and homey around here.
