I understand that some of you may be waiting for the next post about our little Elijah and where exactly the Lord is going to bring him home from……but I would be a real wretch if I forgot Thankful Thursday…..besides, suspense is good for the soul. (No I never heard that before, but it sounds good anyway….)
Let’s see….what I am thankful for this Thankful Thursday??
2. I am thankful for this corner of the loft dedicated to dollhouses because it means that little ones play here too…… 3. I am thankful for this corner of our master bedroom, because I guess it made a great dressing room for a dolly and that all just means that a little girl lives here and she is training to be a good mommy one day………
4. I am thankful for this pile of horses and ponies that greet me when I went to take a shower today….because they remind me that a precious little boy (who once lived in an orphanage in Ch*na) lives here…..
5. I am thankful that my laundry room is too full to ever keep organized. If there were only 2 people who lived in this house, it would be adequate….but big families?? Not so much! So I am thankful for my organized chaos…..it works for me…….and it means that I am a Mom of Many…
6. I am thankful for the antelope grazing in the field the other day……
7. I am thankful for my lunatic friend Carie. She is one of the most thoughtful people I have ever met. Thank you Carie for being YOU!!
8. I am thankful for daughters who I can laugh with………
9. I am thankful for this sweet husband of mine…..(still on oxygen and praying he is able to come off it soon)….. 10. I am thankful that Thankful Thursday is catching on….several bloggy friends have joined the ranks who are dedicating Thursdays to being thankful – Yippeee Jesus – just how cool is that? The ones I am aware of are: Sally, Lori, Tiffany, Jill, Jinny, Kristin and Kim. Way to go bloggy buddies –
I am so very, very thankful that my laundry room matches yours. Whew. I thought I was the only one with a never-empty dirty clothes basket. But according to you, it's a good thing and so I will now rejoice over my chaotic laundry room!!!
If it is ever organized & seldom utilized, I will know that it is time to adopt more children.
DW – you’re not fooling me with that smile, but, I AM thankful that you’re on the road to recovery!
I’m also sooo thankful for old friendships like ours and all the crazy memories that we have.
hey! I want to be thankful on Thursday, too!! I am a little slow but I’m trying!!
Better go and post before it’s Friday!!
Smile,
Jean
