Final lap

Linny made it to Denver! Yea God. She met with JoJo her great friend and awesome husband Dave. Dave said Elizabeth came over and hugged him and didn’t let go followed by falling to sleep on his shoulder.

She’s in line for her final flight – delayed about 30 to 40 minutes. But I’m dressed up waiting for my forever Christmas packages to arrive. In about 1 hour I get to greet them off the plane into our home and family. Keep praying.

Oh, by the way it started blizzarding again about 2 hours ago. I was outside and started yelling at the storm and to Jesus. “JESUS TAKE THIS STORM AWAY.” I began to lose hope… but a few minutes later it quit… and it cleared. I think God was laughing – the Father had played a trick on me – I can just hear him talking to his angelsw-“Did you see Dwight panic?” WOW! ”

I love my Heavenly Dad’s sense of humor!! On this side of it! Lord willing the next time you hear from us we will all be snuggled in the Cabin, fresh snow outside, and I’ve started a warm fire. Does it get any better than that? dw

  1. YEE-HAW!!!

    That’s such great news!

We got snowed in at work today and just finally arrived home… so we know about the weather thing.

God is in control… and how He loves to give good gifts!!!

  2. I can’t wait to see the first picture of all of you together!!!!! I can’t wait to see Elizabeth and Elijah all warm and safe in your cabin!!! I have to admit, we leave 3 weeks from today to go to China and I have to say I hope its not quite as eventful and full of surprises as your trip. I will admit though that my blog will not be as mush fun to read as yours!!

  3. Oh! I’m so excited for all of you! I’m so glad that Miss Linn will be home soon and will get some much needed rest. I will keep praying for peace as you try to make room in your home for two more. God be with you in this busy time!

  4. oh boy!! better have a nice warm bath drawn, w/ loads of bubbles, prepare to put the children down yourself and then give her a LONG back rub in addition to the fire in the fireplace!

  5. I pray as I am writing this that Linn is home with you. I know everyone is truly exhausted. I am sure she was so glad to see a familar face in Denver. We all look forward to hearing from her soon. Please tell her to get some rest. Hope Emma is feeling well.
