Anyone Know Anyone Looking for a Job in Ministry?

Dw has seen the power of my bloggy friends through my time in Africa and our fire. We thought this would be a great place to advertise some staff positions we have opening up in the very near future.

As many of you, Dw is a senior pastor here in Colorado. As the Lord would have it, three of our staff pastors are leaving. It’s all good. All three are leaving to fulfill their long held dreams. One is leaving to pursue medical school. One is leaving to plant a church. One is leaving to go back to YWAM in Europe where he and his wife were originally on staff.

We are currently looking for the following paid staff positions: Youth Pastor, Worship Pastor, Adult Ministries (emphasis small group) and Children’s Pastor (some positions will be full-time and some may be part-time).

Each applicant must be passionate in their love for Christ, in the position they are applying for, and passionate for the people they will serve.

Please email resumes to: pastordwight@iriverchurch.com

i have a friend who i have been praying for. he’s been searching and praying for God to reveal to him where he should be. I’ll mention this to him.

    and on another note….
how did the granite tiles work out? did you love them. i saw some pics of the kitchen (before the fire….) and it was BEAUTIFUL! (sorry if I just made you miss it some more.)
    praying for your family.

    and on another note….
our church is having a trivia night for a youth fundraiser and the table can have a theme. ours is going to be “support / pray for out troops” i’m thinking on some of the ribbon’s i’m going to write down names of people we know who are currently deployed, and your sweet tyler is on my list.

  2. Oh how I wish Chris was a pastor, OK not really. We love God dearly but not our calling. What about a auto technician? Looking for one of those?

By the way I tell you that little China prince of yours always has the most beautiful smile on his face. Is he ever grumpy?

  3. OOHH…one of my dearest friends from Bible college is presently seeking God for direction. He recently resigned his pastorate. I have sent him the info…WOW…I can tell you right now, if this ever came to be, I would be on the next plan to Durango…not only would I get to see my precious friends, but YOU, too!!!!

    Hugs…nancy in CT (and ShaoXi!)

  4. Um you have me confused now. I’m not Melanie but I have a friend Melanie that follows your blog and yes we are Chris and Sarah. I really only go by Sarah. I was known as giggle box when I was a kid but that’s it.

  5. I have no idea what is going on between you and my dear friend, Sarah. 🙂 But, her comment made me laugh out loud (for real). funny! My husband teaches at a seminary – would it be helpful for him to direct some of his students who are about to graduate to your church’s website? Praying for God’s perfect provision for your church in His perfect timing.

  6. Hi Linn!
Love you blog! My husband and I have been in the adoption process before and are currently at Seminary in Texas. We ADORE Colorado and would love to be serving the Lord there someday.

    Many blessings,
    Heather
