Our Little Log Home

I fully intended to write about our little log home yesterday, but something happened that kind of knocked the stuffin’ out of this ol’ gal. I am praying about writing about that one day. We’ll see. So forgive me for leaving you hanging, it definitely was not my intention.

Anyway, I wanted to update all of you who have been praying about our insurance situation since the fire. We received word that the adjustor was submitting a request that we receive our full insurance amount as it is declared a total loss. It has to be submitted to several different levels until it eventually reaches corporate, so we continue to pray that there will not be any hitches along the way. Thank you to all who have been praying – don’t stop!

This morning I was up bright and early having my Bible study and prayer time. In the midst of it I received a text message. Our son Tyler has landed on American soil. How we rejoice that he is ‘home’ again. Thank you for your prayers for his safe return. Please continue to pray for our military, both depl*yed and stateside, and their families. America: Home of the Free Because of the Brave!!

  1. Praising God that Tyler is indeed “back home”!! Still praying for your family and the situations that are at hand!!

“Our God is so GREAT, so STRONG and so MIGHTY….There’s NOTHING our God can not do!!!!!!!!!!!”

  2. Lin,
Just wanted you to know that this Denver mom continues to pray for you. May you know the height and breadth and depth of our precious Savior’s love in new and amazing ways today! Your faith in the midst of these huge trials is encouraging sooo many! I’ve even begun praying about another adoption.

    Hugs and prayers,
    Carol

  3. Sweet friend…continued prayers for your insurance situation and rejoicing that Tyler is on US soil! Our oldest son told us this week that instead of heading for trade school this summer, he wants to join the military. I thought of you immediately, with your amazing Tyler, and wished I could just come over to hug your neck! I lost my cousin in Iraq a little over two years ago. Our family is nervous about sending a son, but if that is where God wants him, we don’t want to stand in the way.

Praying about whatever happened yesterday–that God will bring peace to your heart and healing to your soul.
    HUGS!

  4. Praying for the house settlement. And WHOO-HOOing all over the place about Tyler being back in the states! 🙂 That is awesome news for the weekend!

  5. Im sure you are one relieved momma right now knowing that your boy is home safe and sound.
Praying for whatever it is that “knocked the stuffin out of you yesterday.”

  6. First, even more important than the great news on your home, is that your boy is home safely. That is awesome news!! PTL

I’ll continue praying the insurance will come through every level it has to go through without any hitches.

    Hugs…

On your bum: nothing comes at us that is not first filtered through God’s hands. I’ll be sitting by you praying!

  9. Oh, oh, oh! I didn’t know Tyler was coming home so soon! Will he be heading to CO anytime soon?!?!?YIPPEE, JESUS! 🙂 And you know what I am praying? That Extreme Home Makeover comes through, and that whatever insurance monies you get can be used for the Kingdom!!!! Can it work that way?

Love and hugs from CT! Nancy

  12. Oh my goodness….I’m so selfish…here you’re talking to me yesterday about my minor issue, and you’re dealing with something that knocked the stuffin’ out of you…I’m so sorry.

Please know that I’m here for you as well. Always.

And woot woot! Tyler is back! God is just awesome!

Indeed our family is so grateful for the men and women who are in our military, and their families who keep America Free.
