Guesses

Y’all make me laugh! On top of all the comments I have gotten so many emails with all your guesses too….and it has been very amusing. I love it!! You’d think I was giving away a free trip to Uganda or something as the prize!! You guys are the best!! xo

I am standing typing in my pre-dawn dark home grinning away at you my sweet bloggy friends. Thank you for guessing and I really wasn’t trying to be a stink head (well maybe a speck). BUT what I thought would be allowed to be revealed immediately, turned instantly and due to some things out of our control and happening in Uganda, things have gotten very (shall we say) “delicate” for lack of a better word. (I know, I know, I know, this is down right mean, but I’m honestly not trying to be. ) Please forgive! I got up early to pray and ask the Lord for much wisdom and direction.
Please bear with me and know that as soon as I can explain or tell or reveal or however it turns out, I will. Promise!
As far as the team……our oldest Abi got sick on Sunday and 4 others got sick. Now Emma is sick. The others are better. Please pray for healing for them.
Last I knew 1100 trees had been planted and the foundation for the kitchen/guest room/storage room had been laid, along with the cornerstone. They have spent lots of time at the babies home playing and loving on the babies as well.
This past Sunday, after Dw had spoke at the Sunday morning service the team ministered to several who had come forward to receive Christ as their Savior. Then another hundred people came forward for prayer for different needs.
Sunday night at the crusade Dw was speaking at things became quite intense and downright scary when in the middle of Dw speaking a man drove his motorcycle down into the large crowd that was gathered. He singled out our team to do bodily harm and our team went into prayer mode!! Many prayers were immediately sent heavenward!!! The man was eventually subdued and removed. When it was all said and done, about 60 people made first time decisions for Christ and many, many, many came for prayer. Dw said the team was so stoked after Sunday night and he was so very, very, very proud of them!!

Please don’t stop praying!!!!!

  1. Okay, so you're forgiven. And now we can all start praying…cuz God knows EXACTLY what's going on! 🙂 We'll just keep storming the gates of heaven until you give us the "all clear"…come to think of it, I think we'll just keep on praying, even after that! 🙂

We're in OK now. At my mom's. Things are well. Allergies are a killer in this state plus my mom has a cat and that about puts me over the edge!

  6. oh my!
Our God is mighty to save but the enemy sure does hate seeing souls won to the Kingdom of God!
I will stop and pray right now for the health and safety of the team and for the work of their hands.

  7. So so incredibly awesome to see the Lord moving! That "interruption" was clearly the enemy working and he will never succeed when the Lord's got plans!

  8. Oh wow…satan is apparently poked in the eye and ticked. Well…the praying will have to increase, because I am ticked at the warfare/sickness.

  13. Thanks for sharing what's going on in Uganda so we all can pray, and pray and pray! I am excited to hear what the surprise is, and am wondering if I might have an idea of what it is about. Please continue to keep us posted on the Uganda team!

Did you hear about the phone charger that was mailed to Justin for his African phone just before he left, without which his phone would have been worthless? Mail to his house ALWAYS takes at least 3 days, and it was too late for it to arrive on time, but I mailed it anyway, and then prayed. It got there in ONE mail day, arriving just before he left. Our God can do anything, anytime, any way He wants to!

  17. Linny,

i just wanted to thank you for your post some time ago on fasting. it was perfect timing. I have been in germany for about 4 years and had to go back to school (like high school) here in order to be allowed to go to university. my german is very poor. anyway skip to now i just completed my testing. i studied, but i just felt so scared and knew there were so many factors against me. I fasted to ask God to move on my teacher's and the corrector's hearts and to really looks at my exam and find the points i needed to pass. I also fasted and prayed the God would calm me and take it off my heart and out of my mind and allow me to care for my husband, son and house. I was so amazed by the results. I also fasted again for my grade yesterday. well from dinner up till after the grades were handed out. I passed and i felt so grateful/thankful. I wasn't even hungry anymore. I got exactly what i asked for.

Thank you so much for writing that encouraging post. i think if you hadn't done that i would not have been able to get through this time and grow closer to God. thanks again!

BTW i love you blog and i am praying for you team and i hope the guess is that you guys are bringing home a another child!

    lots of love,
    amy
