Whitey ~~~ Not many 53 year old men who already have EIGHT children would call from the opposite side of the world (Uganda) and say, “How big are your arms Linny?” But you did! You had just signed papers to bring me our one year old son (Elijah) and our 2 year old daughter (Elizabeth) – completely unbeknownst to me…. Actually, come to think of it, I think I am pretty safe to say that NOT ONE other man alive would do what you did….NOT ONE!! You are one of a kind – no wonder I love you so much!!
You precious husband are MY hero and I love you with all my heart! You are the best example I have ever seen of God the Father’s love for each of us. Thank you for modeling that for me all these years – you have done such healing in my heart after the example I grew up with.
You are the best daddy in the whole world…and all of our children (and many others – Tony, LaToya, Junior, from Africa and Katie and Ben, just to name a few) adore you….how blessed we are that you are ours!!! Happy Daddy’s Day My Hunka Hunka – You are the BEST!!
What a beautiful post for DW. I'm so thankful we both have men who are passionate about the Lord, passionate about orphans and passionate about life. We are truly blessed. Hope you have a wonderful day Linny celebrating Father's Day. Hugs
I was blessed enough to get to meet this awesome man of God! You are so right when you talk about how awesome he really is…
It was absolutely the sweetest thing ever to hear all of the guys from African Hearts calling him "Dad". I remember on the first walk into the city I was walking behind Pastor Dwight when he put his arm around George and asked him if he had a Dad…George said "no" and Pastor Dwight said something like "now you do, son!". It blessed my heart so so much!!
Blessing to your beautiful family this Sunday!

Happy Father's Day Dwight!! (And Linny I love that you call him Whitey! lol) Those photos are so precious and I love the close up of Elijah!
BTW, our breakfast wasn't elaborate either, because I'm a poor planner. 🙂 I hope you guys have a great day!!
So sweet! I hope you guys have a great family day!
Dw truly is an amazing father & I admire him greatly. But how dare you post about giving him breakfast in bed so that K-man could read all about it!! I'll never hear the end of it now! So, I'm sure we will have to treat him dinner in bed later.
Thanks a bunch!
Happy Father's Day! You are AWESOME!
Now you have never informed us of the SURPRISE that you talked about in Africa??!!! When will you let us know about that?!
Happy Fathers Day to an awesome man of a great God!
Happy Father's Day DW! It's so wonderful to hear of such love between a husband and wife and parents who love their children, their gifts from God.
It's a blessing to have such wonderful men in the Lord. May you have many, more happy wonderful years. And oh how those straweberries look sooooo yummy. Love and blessings to you all!
Doesn't really get much better than fresh strawberries…..

Happy Fathers Day DW…
AWWW!!! I love it- your children do have a daddy and it is great!!!!! Hey, quick breakfast for daddy, but a huge handful of smiles!!
DW is definitely a father figure to many and God has gifted him with a father's love to give to all who need. He is a blessing to people all around the world! I hope you had a great day spoiling him, I know I had a great day being spoiled by my family! Blessings,
James
These are the sweetest pictures ever. It's true. Don't know another man on earth that was called to the adoption first…before the wife..haha. What a dream. 🙂
Happy Father's Day DW!!
Hopefully you will have more time to share your breakfast strawberries tomorrow. 🙂
