Don’t Wanna Miss This Moment – Elijah the Chocoholic

My bloggy friend Pam does a week-end blog carnival….”you’re gonna’ miss this moment”….
Well last night something happened and no, we don’t want to miss this moment….
Graham was hanging out in the kitchen with his buddy Spencer…..All of a sudden Graham said, “Mom, did you give Elijah chocolate, cause he sure smells like chocolate?” Ummmm no. Upon closer examination we found our little guy had basically taken a bath in chocolate…
He was grinnin’ from ear to ear and boy did he smell good……
But where was it coming from? Guided by our noses….we found the crime scene….
He must have opened the fridge and gotten out the Hershey syrup…..oh yeah baby – that’s my boy!! He know a good thing when he sees it…He smelled dee-lic-ious!!

  1. G'day ~ I have read several of your posts.

We did hear about this loss of Josh. We, too, are the parents of an angel forever, Sean Ean. My heart goes out to the family. Every child lost is like reliving your own loss each time.

Your children are adorable … I love the chocolate story, it reminds me well of a little girl I took care of accomplished the same effect & affect of chocolate.

Pop over for a visit. Have a lovely weekend. TTFN ~Marydon

  2. Hi Linny,
How cute!! He looks like he had
a chocolaty good time!! Good for him, hope he didn't get sick.
Also am praying for the Gulvas and their son Matthew. That is so sad,
and I so hope the Lord does an amazing reconciliation during this sad time.
    Blessings, have a great day,
    Nellie

  3. hahaha!! Yes indeedy. He does know a good thing when he sees(tastes?) one. THAT is what I would drink if I were 2 also. He was already cute enough to make me wanna dunk him in my coffee. . . now he looks like he is even more deliciously cute. lol Mocha cappucino anyone??

  4. Gives new meaning to the phrase we drool over our babies … "smells good enough to eat"

What a yummy mess. Leaves our kids to wonder why such a 'good' tasty thing leaves a not so good message from momma.

  5. Well, I guess that is more fun to clean up than diarrhea (you can tell what I've been doing latey)! He looks adorable–and what a mischevous little guy!! 🙂

  6. Good boy Elijah, Good boy!! Very important that you teach them right away to love chocolate!!

How is he at cleaning up? That may have to be the follow up lesson!
