Packin’ It All Up

I’ve been spending today startin’ to pack up all the Memorial Boxes…..prayerfully, they will ship tomorrow….But seriously, 10 Memorial Boxes….anyone want to come help me? I would say we could have a nice cup of coffee while we work, but the beloved coffee maker broke this AM…..that should just be plain illegal, ya’ know?

Although on the bright side my handsome knight in shining armor came to the rescue….he was just down the road when he heard that dreadful news, grabbed an Americano and dashed up to the house….the day was saved….but what about tomorrow??

  1. awwww, what a sweet husband you have. but yes, i can imagine the thought has crossed your mind a time or two today. . . what about tomorrow!!?
good luck (not that i believe in that) getting your morning jolt!

  2. Oh, Linny those boxes are beautiful! God bless you for doing such a generous giveaway!
Goodness, The pure panic would have taken over by now if I new I had to face a morning without coffee.

  3. Well, that is just AWFUL that your coffee maker broke! UGH! I hope you are able to get one before tomorrow, or that your sweet knight will get you another cup. 🙂

  4. Congratulations to the winners of the Memorial Boxes. Linny, thanks for posting pictures of what they look like. I have something that will work for our own Memorial Box that has been in our garage for a couple of months, and I didn't even think about it working until I saw your pictures!

Hugs from our home to yours,
Janet, Kevin, Ted, Philip, and waiting on Eli

  5. After seeing a couple of your memory boxes in a few posts back, I'm now on the hunt for one. When I find it, I'll let you know. The winners are going to be thrilled with what you've found. Hugs..

  6. Memorial boxes…how exciting! : )

And I'm laughing about the coffee pot story. A few years ago, I didn't drink coffee at all. (I've since learned the error of my ways!) I have a dear friend who LOVES coffee. She basically lives on it. One day her coffee pot broke, so she called me and asked if she could borrow mine. I told her I don't have a coffee pot. I don't drink it, remember? And she said, "Yes! That's why I called you, because I figured EVERY house has a coffee pot, and you wouldn't be needing yours!" So apparently we weren't right with God or something since our house did not have a coffee pot! I sincerely hope yours gets fixed soon! : )

  7. Oh Linny – true need for prayer – I am sure God would want you to splurge on a new one. hehe 😉 It is just a true need for those of us with little ones!

  8. I am awestruck at the memory boxes. My! Just the shipping along on those things would be so costly What a generous heart you have! I am going to go back and read up on this idea on your blog. Sounds like something to incorpporate in *my* familie's life.
