An Autumn Ball

Emma and Graham were invited to an Autumn Ball at a friend’s biiiig, beautiful home. There were over 60 young people there, all dressed up looking all fancy/schmancy from what we hear. There was ballroom dancing and waltzing – sounded beautiful!!

Oh to have been a fly on the wall!! =)

We found Emma’s dress at a Vintage Antique Shop in New Mexico – it was really sweet!! She is her own girl through and through – – and the only shoes she wanted to wear were her “Chucks” (aka Converse All-Star Sneakers).
Her boyfriend Josh took her. That’s Graham’s buddy, Spencer, with them. Graham and Spencer were quite tickled with all the girls they each danced with. One in particular caught both their eyes. (May the best man win! j/k)….

Chucks for Josh, Emmy & Graham

After they got to the Autumn Ball we received the following picture from Josh. This is what the text said that accompanied the picture:

The ball has begun but only one princess is here and
I have been lucky enough to dance with her
(How cute is that??)

  7. So fun! I love Emma's dress! Growing up I took Cotillion classes – girls in white gloves, ballroom dancing, little boys getting punch for little girls. I loved it. Its great to learn ettiquite and manners at a young age!

  8. Hi Linny, What wonderful photos and memories that were made. Your Emma looked so beautiful and the guys looked so handsome. Love the vintage dress as well. I hope they were able to stay warm amidst the cold weather.
Hugs and blessings to you this day.

  9. What a blessed mother you are Linny! You know God is gonna do something awesome with this girl of yours… and all the others!

He made her uniquely for His plans, chuck's & all! How precious she is!

  10. My girls would totally wear the antique dress with the "Chuck T's".

Did you see our family pics last month … with 15 pair of Chuck T's? We are definitely a Chuck T family; and I wouldn't be surprised if one of my girls wore them in their wedding.

Sounds like a fun Autumn Ball.
