Cinderella & Her Siblings Pick Out Her Carriage

We have started a sweet little homeschool group for those who attend the River. Several families have started homeschooling this year and some have pulled their kids out of school and then there are a few of us who have homeschooled “forever”. We now have about 12 families who attend and homeschool. Each month we do field trips together and we also have Mom’s night out. =)

Last week we had a sweet Pumpkin Patch field trip. Little Miss Elizabeth who is a Princess just about everyday asked if she could wear her Princess dress? Ummmm…why not? I got to thinkin’…..Cinderella would be needing to pick out her Chariot…..so all day long, even when we went shopping at the Mall later she wore her Princess dress. Sweet baby girl – finally she gets to be a Princess!!

  1. Linny, If I could reach through the computer I would be there right now squeezing that Princess!
What an absolute picture of joy! She brings tears to my eyes. She is amazing!
And I'm not going to leave out the other sweets either! they are all beautiful!!!!!! What a bountiful blessing!
OH, could you just grab their sweet cheeks and give them all big smooches from me, PLEASE??
Emma too, she's just gorgeous! Did I read that she does ballet? I also have a ballerina, Olivia.

  2. Elizabeth's picture at the end is priceless, boy do you get some good ones of her!

Loved the corn in lieu of the bark, how fun is that?!?!?

You should be done revolving by now! And headed back to the barn!

  3. I sighed and grinned my way through these beautiful pictures. Until I came to the one of Isaiah.

Then I got so teary-eyed at the thought that your precious boy was JUMPING! After those surgeries and recovery and casts – your sweet little guy was JUMPING!

What a perfect way to start the day – thank you Linny.

  4. I love your little princess- I just can't help but smile when I see her smile!

You do help me to be a little bit more easy going- thank you for that! (Although it is still a process- I have to remind myself!)

Cute pics of the kids! Warms my heart to see all the smiles and fun! Makes me want to move to Durango and join the church!! Not to mention I heard the pastor is hot!! and that homeschool group- wow- what fun!

  5. After a wonderful church service this morning, this just puts icing on the cake. What fun pictures to see and chuckle over. Your little princess is a doll. The guys in the train…what a hoot!!
    hugs and love

  6. I'm not sure how pics from a pumpkin patch have reduced me to tears, but they have. Linny, all your children are precious–so sweet to see how much your older ones love the younger ones (including Prince Charming/boyfriend Josh). But Cinder-Elizabeth was certainly the fairest of them. Just thinking of where she was living this time last year and how loved she is now is one of the sweetest "happily ever afters" God ever wrote.

  9. Oh my gosh, Linny, that princess of yours is just such a ham. I can just tell she has the sweetest personality by the pics you post. So glad she found her chariot 🙂

    Love and hugs

  10. You know Linny, as I've been pondering it, my entire life is one Memorial Box Monday! The faithful fingerprints of my Father are all over my life.
The Lord has delivered me from illness, from death's grip, from poverty, from fear and so much more. I look at my three children and they are living memorials to what God has done in my life. Me. A girl who got pregnant twice without difficulty although the pregnancies were not easy. Me who had a hysterectomy when I was 24…now mother AGAIN through the miracle of adoption. Me. a vehicle to help a lost child find her way home. God chose me and these kids are my living memorials!
    love to you and yours,
    Holly from Purpose Driven Family
