Jubilee’s Update

Many of you have asked what the status is of our sweet Jubilee Promise……
All of our paperwork is in Guanghzou…..which means that we are just waiting for TA (Travel Assignment). TA usually takes about 4-5 weeks to receive. The paperwork was sent 3 weeks ago. Our prayer is that Almighty God will grant us favor and we will be allowed to whisk over there and grab our girl and head home before Thanksgiving. Tyler & Sarah are coming for Thanksgiving and a few days later the yellow ribbon will go up again. How soothing to this Mama’s heart it would be for Ty to meet Jubilee before he goes again???
Let me explain that Ch*na has NOT said it’s all good – YET – but our agencies talked and decided just to proceed as though they had never heard that Ch*na had withdrawn their approval. So we are just trusting that Ch*na will just grant us TA and we can snatch her in our arms and run for the hills. =)

Abi and Ryan are also trying to come for Thanksgiving so if they do and I was able to be to Ch*na and back then I would have all 10 of my kids together for the first time – all before Tyler depl*ys. Whew!
Please keep praying. Who knows what God has in mind, but He says, “You have not because you ask not.” So we’re a-askin’!!

  1. Linnie, you amaze me. I think I must have missed where things got turned around for you to adopt Jubilee and I am THRILLED that she will indeed be joining your family. God is so good. I just have to say that your attitude encourages me daily. We just completed our 2nd adoption and I can't imagine continuing to add to our family over and over….it has been so hard. There is certainly a grace over your family that is so beautiful!!

  2. That's right, Linny… 'we have not because we ask not' …so true! I love the way to stand on the Word!! There is so much POWER in it!! Thank you Jesus for bringing sweet Jubilee home in time for Thanksgiving…OHHHH what a WONDERFUL and JOYOUS Thanksgiving that would be! We are standing in prayer and faith with you, dear friend!! <><

    Love and Hugs,

  3. Praying that the Lord would move BIG in China (not that He ever moves small)!

Move, move, moooove the mountain Lord to bring Jubilee Promise home!! In other words, I'm asking that You would give my friend Linny a great big GASP!! You alone are able!

  4. Oh it's gonna happen, my dear friend. Because the Almighty Father destined sweet Jubilee to be in your family before the foundation of the earth—NOTHING can stand in His way. Nothing! Mountains, red tape, governmental garbage be MOVED in the name of Jesus.

    Loving you.

  5. Praying in Mn for your sweet Jubilee to come home!! What a glorious Thanksgiving that will be with all of your children together under one roof!!

When will you be in your farm house in the woods?

  6. Oh, Linny, I know the longing you must be feeling to hold that angel in your arms. I can't wait to see the pictures of all of you together!!

Thanks for the comment on my blog- I MUST now know what Dw said!:)
And about your first day of homeschooling….well, I just about fell to the floor laughing. Glad I'm not the only one who has these days!:)

  7. Praying for a huge house full on Thanksgiving. How wonderful that would be.goodness I could just imagine the noise and laughing. The house just bursting at the seams. BTW feel free to consider yourself tagged too. I would just love to hear where you and DW got all your children's names from. They are some of the most beautiful names I've ever heard. If you have time, go back to my blog and see what my friend Heather commented right after you. She doesn't have a clue I ever thought of adopting. No one does really. I've been praying but things keep getting worse. I don't know Linny.

  8. Right there asking with ya!!!!! Oh here again is God's perfect timing if you can get all ten together. We have not been able to do that since Matt was deployed over 6 years ago. It seems as soon as Joe leaves, Matt arrives and so on!!!

Here's for TA within the next few weeks!!! I am so excited.

You mean you could have told me all this this morning and you had to make me wait until you put it in a post!!!!

Really you are not the person I am referring to in my next post! 🙂

  9. Hey Linny! I thought I had commented earlier, but I'm seeing I did not. 😉 Weekend brain! But we're praying for Jubilee to come home very very soon! I can't wait till she's in her momma's arms with her brothers and sisters that love her so much!

Thank you so much for stopping by my blog- you caught me just as I was posting! 😉 There's been some overdramatic stuff going on so I hadn't felt like posting in a while, and it honestly was just hard to get back in the swing of things with our internet gone so long! 🙂 But I've missed blabbing my mouth off.

    Have a great weekend!

  10. Oh how I CHERISH the special times when I have ALL of my kids together at the same time. It's only happened once so far.

    Praying for Jubilee's homecoming SOON.
