Can you Hear us Yippee Jesus(ing) From Where You Live?

Just yesterday as the kids and I were getting ready for church Elizabeth was playing with an old (real) cell phone. She came to me and as she clicked it shut said, “Mommy, it was Jubilee. She said you need to come and pick her up.” I got all teary-eyed and said, “Elizabeth, let’s pray that you are prophetic!”

Today, while I was in the back doing laundry I heard Emma say, “Mom, your cell is ringing and the number is from an 859 area code.” OH MY GRACIOUS ANSWER IT!!!

It was Rita from the agency. She said, “We have some good news!” I was crying before she could say anything more. Jesus, you are sooooo good to us!! After learning that, indeed, China has granted us Travel Approval to come get our sweet Jubilee I said through a boatload of tears, “Rita, you know how scripture says “Beautiful are the feet of him/her who brings good news?” She said she knew. I said, “Well Rita – I’m guessing that your feet are absolutely gorgeous!!”

Yippee Jesus!! Yippee Jesus!! Yippee Jesus!!

To God be The Glory Great Things He has Done!!!

“He sets the lonely in families….”

Psalm 68:6
(Now the appointment just has to be secured at the US consulate
and then we can make travel arrangements. )
**Thank you to all of you who have prayed and prayed and prayed some more. God heard our prayers and our sweet baby girl will no longer long for a mommy and daddy of her own…she will be immersed in love to overflowing!! How we rejoice!!**

  27. Fantastic! How exciting for you, your family, and sweet Jubilee! Can you ask Elizabeth to check that phone to see if my little one is calling from Guatemala, asking me to come and pick her up too? Her adoption has been underway for almost 2 years (it will be as of December 17) and she will be 5 years old in one month.

  28. YEAH GOD!!!!!!!!!! I'm so very excited and thrilled for all of you!! Can Jubilee be home with her forever family in time for Christmas??

    Love you guys!

  29. Can you hear me squealing all the way from Guatemala?!!!! Praise God, praise God, praise God!

Oh, Linny, I have prayed without ceasing for Jubilee Promise and am just overflowing with joy. I was thinking just today that I needed to check your blog in case there was a Jubilee update.

Personally, I needed this reminder of God's faithfulness. We are heading downhill on our own adoption rollercoaster. It looks like I'm going to be stuck in Guatemala with my new son until early Feb. All he wants is to be home with his forever family for Christmas, but one bad thing after another is making it seem impossible. Your news gives me renewed hope that miracles can happen.

I'm praying she's home before Christmas and her birthday. GOD IS GOOD!!!!

    Much Love,
    Kathie from Georgia/Guatemala

  30. Yay God!!!!! Celebrating with you and praying your sweet Jubilee all the way home! Once all these sweet children are home we are really going to have to celebrate!

    Just made my night 🙂

  38. Linny,

I have to tell you a story. After a really bad day, I needed to be reminded of God's faithfulness. So I turned to your blog. I re read the stories of Isaiah, Elijah, and Elizabeth. Again and again I listed to Days of Elijah and I prayed that this would be the year of Jubilee. I was moved to tears even though I have never met your family. And I've got to tell you, when I went to bed early this morning I was assured by God that she was coming home. So I am not shocked at all that your TA came this morning. For me, as I know it is for you, the TA is proof of His faithfulness.

    Ashley

  39. Oh Dear Linny!!~ Praise the Lord!!!! Can ya hear me "Yippee Jesus(ing)" from here with ya!?! Cuz I SO am! The tears welled up the second I read those words. I knew that God had cleared the path and worked things out for you!! TA…what beautiful words! Jubilee is coming home SOON!!! 🙂

We're praying for our process to move along quicker now, too. We just want our Khloe home already, and always our heart's desires have been that we would spend her 2nd b-day with her. Well, Feb.8th is just around the corner and we still haven't heard about our LID, let alone our LOA and TA…so in the natural, it's not look'in so good. But we refuse to put our God in a box. He is able and He is divine and He is OUR FATHER!! We know and trust He will bring us to her in His perfect timng though… but like you, we are just so in love and want our sweet girl home!!

CONGRATULATIONS!!! SO SUPERLY-DOOPERLY EXSTATIC for YOU!! 🙂
    Indeed…it's the year of Jubilee!!

    love you, Linny!!
    ~ Tanya

P.S.>> For your Memorial Box ~you could put a photo of Elizabeth with her cell phone and quote her on the back of it, saying: "Mommy, it was Jubilee. She said you need to come and pick her up." Oh what an awesome God we serve!! Truly there is NO GOD LIKE OUR JEHOVAH!! <><

  40. Full circle most likely right at one year … God designed pregnancy to be at least 9 months apart for reasons 🙂 🙂 🙂 YAHOOOOOO!!!!! We will follow every step sweet Linny!

  41. Tears of joy running down my cheeks as I read your post tonight! Remember the words to the song "God will make a way, where there seems to be no way?" That song seems so appropriate now! Are you thinking before Christmas? We spent Christmas of 2004 bringing home our sweet Kaia. She's by far the best gift I've ever received!

  42. THANK YOU LORD!!!!!! We found a ladybug today in our bathroom … IT"S ALMOST DECEMBER!!!!! … I thought to myself, "self, there must be some TA's coming in today …" and there it is !!!!!! I could not be more happy for you … go get that little girl and bring her home!!!!!! Post pictures … lots and lots of pictures!!!!!

    Blessings, Lisa C.

  43. Linny, I have followed your Blog for almost a year now, feels like I know your sweet family:) I have prayed along with your family for sweet Jubilee to come home. Now I am praising our sweet Jesus right along with you:)

  44. Oh my goodness Linny!!! I was gone all day and just read the amazing news!! I am so ecstatic for you- and for your beautiful girl!!!!!! Thank you Jesus!!

  45. Oh Linny, Oh Linny, Oh Linny!!!

My whole household is asleep, I haven't checked in on the bloggy world for hours and hours, and now at 1:00 a.m. I am reading the JUBILANT NEWS . . .

and I'm afraid I might holler, and sing and dance, and wake up my entire household . . .

    my neighborhood . . .

    my city . . .

I just might wake up the whole stinkin' state of Texas!!!!

JUBILEE PROMISE is coming home people!!

    She's coming H-O-M-E, home!

Rejoicing with you Saunders Family! Great things He has done! Thank you Jesus! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

    Love you guys~

Tina ~ singin' and dancin' on the inside, cryin' tears on the outside! She's coming home!

  46. Well, Merry Christmas to your family just in time! I can't wait to hear when you are able to travel, and finally "meet" this sweet girl!!! Thank you, God, for more answered prayers!

  47. Our God is an AWESOME God!!!! I am thrilled for you. I was wondering what that screaming was coming down from Colorado to Texas. I always read and never comment but this is absolutley awesome. I loved the crazy Thanksgiving picture.

  48. Well, my second comment on this … I just can't get sweet little Jubille off my mind. Linny – I so vividly remember seeing that precious child on our agencies list and for some reason being so touched by her and praying and praying and praying for her to have a forever family to love and cherish her. I would like to say that I do this for many children but sadly I just can't do that … but for some reason I did miss Jubilee. I also remember off and on reading your posts on the journeytome sight for little Isaiah and reading your follow up posts – I should go find those – and I remember it hitting me one day that you were talking about Jubilee and how excited I was that she had found such a wonderful family!!!! Can't wait to hear more about your journey to get her!

  49. What an amazing Christmas gift from father God. I loved figuring out the sign language before I scrolled down, but I could sense what you were going to reveal and was in tears the second I realized it was TA!! Praise the Lord!!!!!!

  50. WOW, the tears have started. While taking a shower yesterday (the only place I have alone these days) I was prompted to pray for your Jubilee. I asked God to please bring her home to your family soon, before the end of the year. Then this morning I thought I'd pop by your blog. WOW, WOW, WOW!

    Melodie

  51. goosebumps, chills and tears….
i am sooooo happy for you and soooooooooo happy for jubilee 🙂
praise God from whom ALL blessings flow!!! how awesome is it that Elizabeth was the first to give you His good news!!!

  52. That is awesome. You just gave me goosebumps. Quick question for you. We sent in our app. to AWAA for a Rwanda adoption but they said no because I was a victim of domestic abuse but the Ethiopia program might work. Depending on our finances. We have some debt. I love shopping organically and can't afford with our growing family. What are your thought son everything and about organic eating. I am just wondering biblically what I should be doing and what is right. I know this sounds silly but it is something that really bothers us. Thanks for listening and we are so excited for you guys!

  53. I heard you, I heard you!

Funny…I was asking you about fasting for Jubilee…and God heard me! This time, it didn't take giving up food…just the willingness to fast!

    GOD, you are SOOO GOOD!

  54. So so so excited for you and your family. I cried just thinking about Jubilee finally having some loving arms around her, and that huge family of yours just lovin her up. She is just the most precious little thing.
COME ON CONSULATE APPT!!!!!WHOO HOO! I am thanking God!

  55. I heard this news from Carol last night and I say Thank you Lord.
Amen!!!! I'm so very excited for you-I think I can hear you screaming up here in Windsor, can you hear me????LOL. Continued prayers going up for all the details. Love, hugs and prayers.
    Noreen

  56. YAY!! Oh my goodness, there's nothing else to say but YIPPEE JESUS!! Thank You, sweet Jesus, for hearing and answering our cries to You! Thank You for Your heart for the orphan AND for Your heart for those who love orphans!

  57. You should see me dancing around my living room with excitement for you guys! I love how God speaks through our children right before He performs a miracle! Hallelujah!

  58. Oh, Linny! I can hardly see to type, I am crying so HARD…tears of pure joy! Oh, that is the BEST news I have heard in a very long time! MIRACLES!!!! YIPPEE JESUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  61. Praise the Lord! That is great news!!! Encouraging for me, b/c yesterday we didn't pass for the 3rd time in Ethiopia. Reassuring though to read this, knowing God will bring it to pass. What great obstacles you have had to go through—and God got you through them. Yippee!!!

  62. YIPPEE YIPPEE YIPPEE!!!!! Yet again, your beautiful family has made me cry at work. SO so happy for you all. And I cannot wait to meet this precious Jubilee!

  65. I have been following you for at least a year. 🙂 I am wife to pastor who is proclaiming the Gospel and homeschool mother 3 bio children and one very precious treasure from China.

I have prayed for many of your requests — including more than prayer — petitioning certain folks to allow children into families in N. America.

Thank you for calling us to prayer, faith and action, Linny! Thank you for sharing your life, and how God is always answering more than you can ask or imagine. Your relationship with Jesus is strong and challenging to me!

As for Jubilee, I cried today to see she is FINALLY coming home! Thank you Jesus! Oh the prayers that have been prayed for her release. She's coming home! Have you looked at Elizabeth's feet today? 😉 Thank you Jesus!!!

    Connie

  71. Oh wow! Hallelujah! Thank you for sharing your witness so publicly!

I just checked on your blog as I have a friend who has been waiting nearly 2 years for a child in the Philipines – and is losing hope. I am going to send her a ling to you. No idea whether she'll connect or not – but am so thankful I've somewhere to send her.

    Blessings and Praise!

    Yes, Yippee Jesus!!!

  72. I am so excited for your family. Miss Jubilee has been on my heart for many weeks. What a blessing to come to the computer and see this fabulous news.

I have been thinking alot about your post about what is happening around the world with IA. I think you are very wise, and I have been praying. I also ask that you lift those of us who are waiting in the NSN line. We are commited to this line at this time, due to family constraints. We have been waiting 42 months, and are not sure how much longer we will be waiting. How ever long it is I know SHE will be worth it.
    Blessings from MT,
    Lyndsey

  73. LINNY!!!! Miracles all over!! Praise the mighty Lord!! Make sure your recheck out "a family for Christina" … I are flying out on Monday and will be in GZ 18-28 probably! Would love, love, love to see you and dear Jubilee in person!

  76. Oh wow. Oh wow. Hadn't checked your blog for a couple days and then to come and see this! I knew it!!! God is so faithful! Oh wow…can't stop crying here. I wish I could give you a huge squishy hug and jump up and down with you in person. Wow.

"We will shout for joy when you are victorious and will lift up our banners in the name of our God. May the LORD grant all your requests. Now I know that the LORD saves his anointed; he answers him from his holy heaven with the saving power of his right hand." Psalm 20:5-6

See??? It says **WHEN** you are victorious! and we all knew you WOULD be!! And we are all shouting with you! Alleluia!

And that is just too cool about your little prophet. Great idea to put that cell phone in the memory box.

Oh wow…just wow…sitting at my keyboard just bawling…:-) 🙂 🙂 🙂 Love your tentative travel dates, too. BEST. CHRISTMAS PRESENT. EVER. (Besides Jesus of course!)

    Keri

  79. One of our young daughters had a prophetic word about a baby sister being born. I was pregnant, but NO ONE even knew we were thinking about baby #8. This was the only pregnancy that I KNEW whether I was having a boy or girl. I KNEW that big sisters' prophecy would be confirmed.

    🙂 🙂 🙂
