Three More Orphans Have Forever Family

When Dw, Emma and Graham were taking the Missions Team to Africa this past May/June we had opened the trip to bloggy friends, if they wanted to join in. Several did!! Dw and the kids loved getting to know these sweet folks.
The team served in Ssenge Village at the African Hearts home there. They built the foundation for a kitchen/guest home/store room and loved on the boys at the home.
They did a Vacation Bible school for the kids of Ssenge Village.

And they went to the orphanage to love on the babies. The exact orphanage where we had found our Elijah and Elizabeth. The two men who went really, really were in prayer that maybe, just maybe, God was going to allow them to find a son or daughter or both!!!

One of the men was from Canada. His name is J and he and his wife have a beautiful family grown through adoption. J and his wife have an amazing story about what happened when J got to the orphanage.

One of the other men was from California. His name is Justin. He and his wife had felt strongly that God had an “Isaiah” for him in Uganda. Amazingly, we knew exactly what Isaiah that had to be!! He is the little guy who was having an allergic reaction one morning last December when I got to the ophanage. He was so swollen I could hardly recognize him. I ran to my room and found the Benedryl I had brought. I had prayed and prayed over this little boy and specifically that God would bring a family for him who loved Jesus!!

Both Justin and James began the adoption process while in Africa with Dw and the team and at this very moment they are back in Africa with their precious wives (Shauna & C) to complete the process and bring their babies home.
Meet J and C’s sweet babies…

And then you must meet:
Justin & Shauna’s little guy Isaiah…..

Isaiah finally has a daddy of his own!!! Yippee Jesus!!!

You can follow Justin and Shauna on their blog.
Please remember to pray for these families and all the others, scattered around the world who are desperately trying to complete their adoption processes.

  2. wooohoooo—I LOVE it, Linny. Thank you for posting such great news. We rejoice when EVERY single child finds their mommy and daddy in our home. Praise God for His faithfulness to these families.

  3. Linny, I love following your blog, and I have seen so many great posts – but this one is my all-time favorite – because Isaiah is my newest grandson! I have met him, and he is adorable! (And so are Elizabeth and Godwin!) Isaiah's brothers and sisters can hardly wait to meet him, not to mention cousins and aunts and uncles and the rest of the family. Thanks for celebrating with us! He is the first one adopted into our family, but I am praying he won't be the last!
