Yes, it’s very late – this is my second shot at the post. Apparently Graham went to bed and unplugged the router before i hit publish. So, i guess i lost it all… don’t know where it went in my computer or bloggy land! AGHHHHHHHH
Linny and Emma are in Bejiing. Apparently most of the food on the airlines served pineapple with and on the meal. Linn is highly allergic, and although it would make a great post – and fits our year… it’s not the headline we’d like…. “Woman on way to adopt eats pineapple – plane diverted to Japan for medical emergency.” Naa we’ll take the slow and easy down the road we go – route!
Too late to edit or spell check – but just know I talked with her and she said the flights were great and that all your prayers were answered. She slept through a great deal of the flights.
Also, she is so excited about meeting Jubilee she can hardly stand it! Less than 24 hours away. I’m also so giddy – can men be giddy? Help me out Mr. Daddy! Is that my feminine side.. did you ever wonder what a feminine side looks like? When i turn to the side there is nothing feminine about me…. maybe 6 months or so but that’s about it! Ok, off to bed.
Monday – China time is Forever Family Day! I’ll update more tomorrow – have a great day celebrating the year of Jubilee! Dw for Linny Lee
So glad you are keeping us posted on the trip to bring Jubilee home. Praise God for the good trip – what a great answer to our many prayers. I am glad Linny and Emma are at Bill and Lynsay's now. (They are friends of mine, too, from my church in Bend, OR). I know Linny will be an encouragement to them. And very soon – JUBILEE! Yes, Lord, yes!
Dw, you are funny.
and i think it's the spelling mistakes:D:D:))
Of course men can be giddy. David got so giddy, he once, um…..well you know! I have a husband that gets giddy when we get our new children, too!
This is all just so exciting. I can hardly imagine how you must all be feeling. Praying for this time of meeting tomorrow. God bless. Janine
Of course Dad's can be giddy! 🙂 I think we are all giddy about seeing those first pictures of Linny and Jubilee! Still praying and thanks for the update.
~Lynn
DW – Yes, Kevin said men can get giddy too! Praying here for Gotcha Day in China.
Hugs,
Janet, Kevin, Ted, Philip, and waiting for Eli
Your doing a wonderful job!!! i love reading your posts. Linny should let you at it more often.
So glad to hear they had a good flight. Sending prayers for a quick and safe return.
I can't believe Jubilee is finally coming home! So Amazing!
P.S sorry about the text. But That young "like"… well you remember how it is.
Praising the Lord for you and lifting up banners to our God! Praying each day for you Linny!
Continued prayers for Jubilee and all the family!
Thank you for the update! I was up most of the night w/ a sick little one…so I was praying for your girls! So glad they were blessed w/ good flights.
Jubilee is finally almost in her forever mama's arms! Thank you Lord!
I am just so excited!! So happy she is in China, so happy she is with Lynsay and Bill, so so happy she will meet Jubilee soon!!
Yippee Jesus!!
Linn may have slept some on that flight, but I bet she is full of anxious energy now to meet your new daughter that she wont be sleeping tonight. So very excited for you all to finally be meeting Jubilee, and so excited for Jubilee that God blessed her with you all. And very thankful that the trip has gone so well and I know it will continue. God Bless you All.
Continuing to pray in TX…with love, excitement and anticipation for the day of Jubilee!!!
i can see your giddy-ness!!!
praying, praying, praying!
so excited for you all!
xx
The song "Days of Elijah" is playing on your blog and all I can hear is "Behold SHE comes riding on the clouds. . . " Fortunately there's nothing in the lyrics about a pineapple allergy causing a detour.
Thanks so much for the updates. So happy to hear that they made it safely and are just hours from meeting sweet Jubilee.
We'll continue to lift in prayer Linny and Emma as they travel, Jubilee as she finally meets her new mama and sister, and you and the rest of your family as you hold down the fort while they are gone.
We're celebrating the "Year of Jubilee" with you!!!! There's no God like Jehovah!
Much Love,
Kathie
Thank you for updating! Love the humor 🙂
My kids and I were praying for you all last night!
Can't wait to hear about meeting your new daughter!
Many blessings from WY

I am in STITCHES!
Yes, even redneck men can get giddy… though it's usually over a new gun or something that they've dropped with that gun, ha ha.
I too am GIDDY over Jubiliee's imminent trip home!
"Can men get giddy?" I would have to say that, that is a most definite maybe!!!
I am almost giddy…at the very least extremely excited that Linny has let you out of the dark, spider infested crawl space. And that your fingers have healed in a way that you can type….
And I must confess that (at least when I was much younger) I did wonder (a lot) what a feminine side looked like… "Lord I apologize"
That six months thing???What's up with that? Really!!!! makes you almost lament the years and gravity…
just saying!!!!
WE are celebrating the year of Jubilee with you guys….
That is awesome that Linny was able to sleep most of the flight. Definitely an answer to prayer. Thanks for the updates Dwight! Can't wait to hear all about "gotcha day" and to see pictures!
Hugs,
Robin
DW I'm doing a happy dance here, I'm so excited for you guys. Thanks for keeping us updated. Continued prayers as Linny meets with officials. I pray she has favor with all who she comes in contact with. Oh to be there to see her smile when she first meets her new daughter. Send her love from all of us.

Your allowed to by giddy :)…that TOTALLY ROCKS!!!!
I'm here in Greeley praying for Linny. (we have 3 little girls from China) So glad the flights went smoothly.
Dw,
Thanks again for the wonderful update. Sorry about the router . . . and the pineapple. I think given the circumstances, you are allowed to be giddy–you are about to become a daddy again!!
What does your feminine side look like? I'd say it your feminine side looks like the part of you that lovingly keeps this blog updated for your sweet wife, and for all of us in bloggyland. Not that all bloggers are feminine–not by any means. But, you must admit, Linny's blog is a feminine blog–just sayin' you're doing a mighty fine job of keeping it going! I think your feminine side is looking pretty darn good! 🙂
Waiting and praying to see your Jubillee girl in her mama's arms! FOREVER! Let the Year of Jubilee begin!
Staying tuned . . .
Love from Texas~
Tina

We adopted three older kids last year from Colombia. Your post blessed be. I AM praying for you the same as we are praying for us. REDEMPTION and RESTORATION! Our kids are doing well. To of our God's specialities. Hope Emma is better. I woke up this Christmas morning and wondered how things were going. I had not checked your blog in a while.
