Dw Emailed Me.. would you please pray?

Dw sent me a brief email which basically said:
“Please pray….I have been asked to do a devotional for the Minister of Police in Haiti tomorrow {Thursday 3/18} morning at 8 AM {Mountain Standard Time}. There is no Army in Haiti – so this man is the Top Dog. There will be other top government officials present.”

I have no idea how this came about, but it is obviously God’s favor. Please pray for wisdom, discernment, boldness, courage and protection as he speaks. Truly, I am dumbfounded. Dw went to orphanages today….he has not been hanging out near the government offices.

Please pray with us that God’s spirit will move and
some will enter into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

  2. oh what an amazing opportunity Linny. Indeed we will pray. Have you been reading about the horrific situation with the rapes of young women (as young as 2 yrs old!!??) as darkness settles among the tents? Young teens are especially targeted and it's heartbreaking to read these stories and apparently there is nothing that is being done about it. The girls are afraid to report it, or when reported there are so many other problems that it's low on their priority. HIV transmission is rampant. So so sad!

  3. How exciting!! I will be praying! I love reading your blog and about your adorable family! I am praying that someday my home is full of children just like yours!! God bless!

  4. Yahoo!!!! Count me in…my daughter and I are going to pray right now.

The Lord had you and your hubby on my heart much of the afternoon yesterday, and I'm so thrilled to have been able to pray for your family.

  5. Praying…how very God-like, that I sit here, 10 min. before the appointed time of Dw's devotional! Gotta love God's timing! And went on to read prior email…weeping copiously. Heart broken. Hoping to help…in some way, somehow.

Love, hugs and prayers…Nancy in CT…now, back to praying!!!

  6. Youre covered…….
Just so you know, Ive mentioned our adoption and asked for prayer. HUGE mountians were moved in the past month. In one month from impossible to "tomorrow is the day!" Praying that today is the day!

  7. Praying………I also look forward to seeing what the Lord has in store for you family in Hati. Clearly it appears that He is working out things and favor for you in that precious country.

  8. Absolutely will pray…Our friend Betty is an American living in Haiti and is married to a native Haitian pastor. They were in PAP during the earthquake and have an amazing story of God's Hand of protection…..They have several people from PAP at their home land in Caneille….Have been praying for all people in Haiti…God has a great harvest there….many have been saved from hearing the WORD..Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God….God is So Faithful, isn't He?
Looking forward to hearing how this story plays out in God's plan of things.
    Love in Him,
    Sandy in NC
