Bright, early, up and about….
Riding toys come out with a shout…
Princess gowns and scooters are paired….
Riding toys and bikes all must be shared….
This modern day princess prefers a scooter to ride….
Cause carriages have been tried and tried….
But when midnight comes close to strike….
Who, seriously, can get home in a pumpkin or the like?
However this princess prefers jammies some days…And rain boots, too, “just in case”….
Her hairs a muss, but what’s it matter?
Seems that life shouldn’t be such a fuss
So let her hair scatter……
She’s playin’ at home…
Not going far to roam,
She’s daughter and sister and after waitin’ all those years…
Learnin’ that there’s trust instead of her fears…
So really, little princes in jammies and bare feet….
Being outside is such a treat….
Winter was way, way, way, too long….
“Rules” go out the window and with that there’s nothing wrong…
Like boxers and a tee-shirt for this little prince…
….cause no one could ever this mama convince…
that a kid needs to be all proper-like…..
while livin’ and playin’ in the country, right?
Life simply goes way too fast….
And it’s only a few things that really last….
Like learnin’ to care about sister and brother…..
And strivin’ to simply love Jesus and one another….
That was simply so sweet.
can't wait for the day we finally meet.
If not in this life surely the next.
For we serve a Daddy that loves us the best.

Love it! My kids love all day PJ parties and they were actually just standing out on the porch a little while ago in undies and t-shirts in town because I didn't want them to miss the double rainbow outside.
