Amazing!

Driving Home Last Night the Sky in New Mexico was Brilliant

And Only Got More Orange and Bright

At which point, Dw & I concluded that we had never, in our 50+ years ever seen a sky so on fire!

It eventually was glowing with purple borders…AMAZING!!

I have been busy putting stuff away and doing laundry reading emails and reading the first twelve Memorial Box Monday stories – they are all so amazing!!

When I posted the MckLinky and since I wasn’t posting a story I thought, “Oh boy, sure hope someone posts a link” without a story there….what a pleasant surprise to find a of posts when I got home late last night, actually it was early this AM {12:30am to be exact!} You guys totally rock!!! Thank you for joining in…

Okay, so now I really do have to go tend to my chores {ugh}…but back soon to update all of you on life…xo

  1. Linny,
The post on Monday, July 5th … was written for me wasn't it?–okay, and probably some others, but I'm going to just thank you for writing so eloquently and from the real truth a plan to action–for something that gets me outta the "stuck" mode of yes, I'm following my husband's lead of "not feeling the need to grow our family now" … to do SOMETHING for the orphan plight.

I simply cannot wait for your husband's post from a man's point of view to men on how to lead for the orphan. (sorry, but my husband, bless his heart will listen to things from other men in a different way than if he hears it from me.) And also your post on why it seems God often tends to "speak" to women first … and then in patience and time soften men's hearts. Why is that? To bring us closer? To drive us crazy? Or to bring us on our knees to Him?

I must admit I'm not one to often comment on the blog, I may have once, but I'm not sure if I hit the send button, but the Crazy Love posts, Memorial Box Monday and Definitely this post on "What if my Husband/family Isn't Into It," strikes home for me.

    Crazy Love?
No, my husband's not yet into adopting into our family … but what a blessing that God has provided me a family in The Rippee's to help fundraise for! Maybe you've read their story or seen their button? It all kinda came to fruition at the same time you posted on Crazy Love. Thank you for encouraging me to step out in faith and do SOMETHING–to make a difference.

  3. love your pictures!!!!! I am so glad you had a great time. My Mom and I went to Kalamazoo, Mi this past weekend for a mini vacation. We saw some nice sunsets, but none as beautiful as the one you took pictures of. God sure paints beautiful pictures!

  4. That really is beautiful! I love watching the sunset at night. I live in Az. and we have some of the most beautiful sunsets I've ever seen. It always amazes me, and sometimes I feel like God has put it there just for me. : )

  5. Stunning sunsets!

These photographs remind me of the time my god-brother was just two years old and took notice of the change in the color of the leaves one Autumn afternoon. Sheer bewilderment and awe was on his little face as he asked his mother, "Mom, who painted the trees? They're beautiful!"

Yes, yes, our God is an awesome Creator and Master Artist. 🙂

  6. Only God could make something so awesome! Our cameras, good as they may be, never quite catch it like we see it, but of course we keep trying.
