We woke up this morning to find that somewhere along the way, completely unbeknownst to any of us, a photographer from the local paper had snapped a picture of Emma walking with the Blue Star Moms in the parade. Emma was carrying the picture of a young man serving, whose parents/family were unable to attend the parade.
Anyway, this picture was on the front page of our online paper this AM. We were tickled and dumbfounded! And since it not everyday ya’ get to be in the paper, I just had to share!

If I was the editor of a newspaper, I'd put Emma's beautiful face on the front page, too! What a moving photo of the pictures being carried in the parade.
