Playin’ Around

A few weeks back, while Emma and Graham were at camp, Dw & I decided to take the five little ones to a playground near our home. Stopping at a coffee shop around the corner, we ran into Autumn who was filling her car with gas nearby. “We’ll get you a coffee, come sit with us at the park.” She couldn’t refuse.

Who could?

Free coffee and enjoying watching our treasures run and play….

Little boys. Little girls. Playgrounds.
Climbing. Swinging.

Little girls. Some little girls just learning to trust.

Not really enjoying the height thing.

Tentatively climbing.

Little boys. Jumpin’ for fun.

Little girls jumpin’.

For fun.

Jumpin’ some more.

And jumpin’ some more.

Swinging.

Giggling.

Swingin’ with your buddy….

Wait.

What did you say?

Say it again.

“I gotta go pee.”

But unfortunately a dribble

dribbled on a certain big sis’ hand.

Daddy teased her when he heard.

“Ewwww, that’s gross.”

“Oh yeah? Here you want some on you??”

And then the games really started….

I could hardly take pictures I was laughing so hard…

Crazy love this daddy has for our only blue-eyed of the bunch…

And a bunch of Crazy Love this daddy has for this brown-eyed treasure…

What a sweet time….

Coffee.

Treasures.

Sunshine.

Laughter.

Sweet smiles.

Giggles.

  1. Linny,

Your snapshots into your lives are always so sweet and inspiring. I so, so want to come play too!! I giggle with each new frame.
Better still, as you have come to describe the personalities (complex as they are) look at the last picture. Your wonderful photographic abilities captured 1000 words about your sweet, sweet "treasures" in an instant.

    Love and hugs to all,

  2. How stinking sweet. LOVE reading your blog, by the way.

PS: I'd love your take on something I posted today. I'm sure you're super busy with all of your kids, but if you have a minute or two – could you stop by?

    Thanks. ๐Ÿ™‚

  3. Oh what precious photos and sweet memories. Tell Autumn that a little pee on the hand never hurt anybody. It could have been worse. I thought you were going to say he had an accident while sitting on her lap in the swing.

    Keep enjoying your vacation!

    Much Love,
    Kathie
