Friends, Did You See This?

Okay, you know all those prayer requests we have been praying for?  The fasting?  The great needs?  Do you remember Amanda’s request for a friend of hers named Meg?  Here’s what she asked:
Heavy on my heart is my friend Meg, who was diagnosed with level 4 cancer just a few weeks ago. The prognosis isn’t good, but I believe that God will do his best to move every mountain in the way of her recovery. With your prayers added to ours, I have no doubt her chances of recovery will sky rocket!
Thank you to Linny for bringing us all together for such an uplifting day.
So just think….if you prayed for Meg….then you are gonna’ shriek with delight and praise when you read this just posted by Amanda:

LINNY! Our most amazing, gracious, wonderful, superb, fantastic, mountain-moving God has done it…AGAIN! On Tuesday I put in a prayer request for my friend Meg, who was diagnosed with a very rare form of cancer. She was given a 10% chance to live only five years. There has only ever been eleven people diagnosed with this form of cancer, and none have lived over three years. After our fasting and everyone’s wonderful praying, our God has answered. Wednesday morning, the doctors came in and told Meg that they MISDIAGNOSED her. They don’t know how or why, but her cancer has changed since the original biopsy. (They say the machines must have made a mistake…but we ALL know it was God working in his wonderfully mysterious ways). Meg has now been given a 75% chance of a full recovery! Thank you so much to everyone who prayed and fasted with us on Tuesday. Words cannot describe how much each and every one of you mean to me. We were brought together by Linny, and we’ll be kept together by God.
Almighty God you are AMAZING!!!
YIPPEE JESUS!!!
Can you hear me screaming all the way from San Francisco??
Rejoice with me!!  Encouragement to fast and pray again – soon!!  God’s moving and we are seeing it with our own eyes – I’ve got tears of joy in my eyes…Our Miracle-working, Mountain-moving, Awe-inspiring, Gasp-giving God has been working the night shift!!  Ha! And the doctor’s think the machine made a mistake….okay, dudes…right?!?
Lastly, I’m kind of surprised that there are not more people hoping to win a Memorial Box…so two thoughts…either I haven’t done a good enough job telling about how much EVERYONE needs a Memorial Box OR y’all are being awfully shy….come on guys…you can post more than one comment on yesterday’s post to win…so don’t be bashful…celebrate with me!  Meg’s news boggles the docs…but NOT Almighty God!  He is soooo faithful!

  3. Yippee Jesus! Crying to read how God moved another mountain! God is moving on behalf of the homeless! I asked yall to Pray for Haven House of Montrose as we seek to find a shelter. In May of this year we looked at a building to have it fall through. Well God allowed us to again look at the building at a very reduced price. Please stand with me as we seek to serve in the name of Jesus! I will let yall know . Janet

  4. Praising God with this amazing answer to prayer! I'm believing the same news for you, too–that your next meeting with your doctors would be one of those "can't explain it" miracles that point only to Almighty God.

I've been praying for you, for K, and for Baby Finn (love his name!). And what a blessing to pray over all the requests shared this week. Weds. was National See You at the Pole at schools across America. But you made Tuesday, See You At A Place Called Simplicity Day around many computer screens.

Have a wonderful visit with your sweet family! God is good!

    Much Love,
    Kathie

  9. What wonderful news. As encouragement to others, God is always working, always wanting the very best for each of his dear ones. His best is not always the best as we see it but trust Him, He will come through for you.

It is so awesome, wonderful amazing to see God working as we storm the gates of heaven for our sisters and brothers.

Thanks you Linny for calling us to this outpouring of love.

  10. Wow I am in awe of how much God cares for us and how much he loves each and every one of his children. How wonderful that he answers prayers of his ppl and he is indeed mighty to save. I have also seen miracles in the last three days for my prayer request for my friends mother. She has been able to reach out to her mom and tell her that she loves her for the first time that she can ever remember and tonight she picked up the phone to call her mom and tell her that she is thinking of her and supporting her. Praise God that he is restoring a very broken relationship. Tomorrow her mother is going for a liver ultrasound and biopsy of the four tumours that are suspected in her liver at 1o am. Praying that when they open her up they find nothing but a healthy liver and no signs of cancer anywhere.

  11. Praise God! I too have a praise report… I commented on Tuesday asking for prayer that God would move mountains and get me inside of the orphanage He's called me to here in Ukraine. I have been trying for 7 weeks to get inside and have been met with one obstacle after another. This morning we tried again and were told by the workers that no one has ever been allowed inside to help feed the kids lunch, etc. Long story short, God made a way and that is exactly what we did today! It was only for about 20 minutes but I know that God will continue to open the door wider and wider. Thank you Linny for organizing this and thank you everyone for your prayers.

  12. I requested pray for my daughters surgery, it went well, and my grandmother, my grandmother passed away right before the surgery for my daughter. I rejoice that she is in heaven with Jesus, and she lived her whole life in away to make sure she got there. I know people were praying for us because there is no way we could have got through two very difficult days without all the prayers surrounding us. Thanks!
