  1. Prayers for Tyler and your whole family. Looks like a wonderful celebration. When my husband was in Iraq, my Mother-in-law kept the Christmas tree up until he returned (in April) to celebrate. 🙂

  2. Oh my goodness! When you said that you said your goodbyes I got all teary eyed. Thats a tough one.
FLAGSTAFF??? I only live about an hour from there. Are you all gonna be spending the night there? huh? huh? : )

  3. ahhhhhhhhh. moocho tears! Dear Lord— what it must do to a grown son to feel so adored, so deeply delighted for him. What an EXTREME HONOR for the rest of us, that he serves, as he serves our country. Thank you…. from the bottom of our hearts. You have a fine son.

  4. Looking at your precious pics makes me 1)want to be part of your family, and 2) want my family to be like yours. Oh how amazing that you all gathered for a holiday marathon for Tyler.

Praying for his safety and for your healing. Those two packaged together would make the perfect gift for OChristGiving Day!

    Much Love,
    Kathie

  5. Hi Linny,

I've been reading your blog for a couple of years now (!) and have not been leaving comments or come out of comments. So, today is as good a day as any to say "Hi Linny! You have been a blessing to me! I pray often for you and your family and I thank God for the work that He is doing in you and through you." Along those lines, I wanted to encourage you that your words on this blog are making an eternal impact for God's kingdom. Your words about adoption were one of many factors that has led us to adopt! We are working to bring home a precious child from South Korea right now.

    In Christ,
    Sarah from Leavenworth, KS (Army!)
