As Christmas was approaching, Dw and I took
just Emmy and Graham shopping downtown for the day.
Four of us.
Snowing.
Sweet pleasures.
Savoring every moment.
Tender times.
Some giggles.
Sipping hot coffee.
Holding hands.
Arms linked.
Some serious conversations.
Forever be grateful for this day.
Missing them as they journeyed to Africa and back.
But nothing in my life would rather they be here with me.
Nothing compares to seeing our children passionate for the orphan.
Nothing.
So grateful.
My cell just rang.
US soil One more flight. Four hour drive. Then home. Tears. Hugs. Pictures. Stories. My heart can hardly wait. Grateful. |
Your children bring a smile to my face every time I see them. So glad they are on US soil. Can't wait to hear of their time with the orphans and ministry. You are blessed as are they!
Grateful says it all!
Praise God!
beautiful pictures. So glad to hear that they have arrived safely in USA. ;looking forward to hearing about their time.
I feel a surge of pride and they arent even mine…….
awww. such a sweet notice to know they are back home… safe and secure. Godspeed to the rest of their journey. cannot wait to hear their stories.
Yay! Happy to know the missions crew is safely on home soil. Godspeed the rest of the way. I cannot wait to see the rest of the pictures from the trip and to hear the stories. Hopefully each of the missionaries will post their stories/testimonies somewhere for others to read about God's work and what they witnessed and felt during their journey.
By the way, the pictures on this post are lovely. It's nice for parents to have times like this with their children as they grow and mature. Treasured memories I'm sure. Oh, please tell Emma her scraf is beautiful…such vibrant colors! 🙂
You and DW have modeled passion for orphans to your kids. My husband and I pray our kids catch onto it, too! Can't wait to see reunion pics, hear more stories about the boy in the striped shirt, and maybe the little one who looks so much like Elizabeth?!
Grateful does say it all. It's incredible to see how much your kids love the orphan. Hugs and love
oh, i can't wait with you! wish i could come curl up at the end of your sofa with a cup of coffee & listen in! =)
and this means 12 days until i leave! so, so excited!
So grateful, you have good reason to be! We all do!

Glad they're almost home and that they were willing to go halfway round the world to serve. I guess Isaiah can come out of his room now. ; )
Yeah God!! Thanks for the update!
