Just In Case….

Sunday I had the privilege of speaking both services at our church.
I thought some of you might want to hear it.
 I spoke about Nets.
You just have to click here

And as far as Memorial Box Monday:  Our internet was down yesterday {argh}so I was unable to
write a post for Memorial Box Monday.
Today we are having a lazy day….talking about Uganda,
talking about the orphan, talking about our future, talking…laughing and yes, even tears.

We will do Memorial Box Monday next week. I am praying about sharing about
something here on the home front while they were gone.
It was powerful and truly, my life has been changed.

  1. I told you already, but listening to your message from Sunday was an absolute blessing & totally used by God! I quoted part of it in my status on facebook… and a little later, the mom of the first kids I ever babysat for had copied it to her status!

Cannot wait to hear about what is on your heart. 🙂

I think I am finally leaving for Uganda next week! God is good! 😀

  2. Just listened. Wow! Can't wait to have my 62 and 63 year old parents who are considering a Ugandan adoption listen to it! Thanks for sharing the link.

  3. I already listened to it this morning! Powerful and inspirational. I sent it to my homeschool group and moms group at church. Blessings to you!

  4. I pray you are continuing to enjoy your lazy day…talking about Uganda and orphans.
I hope I can find time to listen to your services later.
Love and blessings from south Georgia…where I, too, believe God is calling His church to great and mighty things for the fatherless.

  5. i'm so glad you're taking today and doing that with your family. i bet is was so good for all your souls. i read from shauna that God used them when her MIL missed her flight to move them. LOVE IT. God always knows. so awesome.

looking forward to if God asks you to share that for your next MBM post!

  6. After reading your blog yesterday I downloaded your sermon on my phone and took you on a walk with me. I do believe that the Lord spoke directly to me through your words yesterday.
I definently have nets that need to be thrown down. Nets of insecurity, fear of failure, not knowing where to begin…the list goes on.
Just about every point that you touched on was personal to me.
Im one of the ones that wants to do great things for the Lord, be his hands and feet like everyone talks about all the time. I know my heart is in the right place, but then Satan pulls the fear and doubt card on me and I freeze. "WHAT IS UP WITH THAT GUY?"
Anyway, I just wanted to say thank you for the walk and the talk yesterday. : )

  7. love to watch God move in your life and how beautifully you share it with all of us. i know that when the time is right you'll get to share this too. thank you for letting all of us share in it. =)
