The kids came running to me this morning as I was dressing for the day. Somehow they had looked at a calendar and found that is was the 24th.
I confess, I rarely keep track of what day it is.
Monday, Tuesday, etc, yeah, I know those {usually! haha}
But seldom do I know if it’s the 17th or 18th or whatever.
And the other day I had looked at a calendar {obviously not the right year!}
and saw that the 24th was Tuesday.
So when the kids came announcing that today was the 24th I was kind of dumbfounded.
But no, it’s true.
Today is the 24th.
oh boy
Translation:
Today, {not tomorrow} is a birthday in our house.
Silly mommy.
Totally was planning on tomorrow, but the kids were so excited to learn it was
today…
{it would have been ludicrous to try to dissuade them till tomorrow}.
Hence, we will move Memorial Box Monday to tomorrow and
I will be back in a little while to ask you guys to help
wish a very special someone a very special day.
*sigh*

P.S. If you think of me tomorrow, around 4:30 est I am meeting with our pastor to help me deal with this fear of flying and talk about the trip! I have to say though, already I am feeling much better…I can really tell God is working in me and its so amazing to see how all my devotions lately have been about trusting him and peace and specifically today what ALL about His peace! Exactly what I needed! I havent received the application yet, just wondering if you got my email at the church? Thanks!

As 24th is my birthday as well, it was yesterday as Australia is a day ahead. 🙂
(I had trouble remembering my exact age, and had to work out the year I was born with this year, is that bad or what? haha)

Great, we are similar! I turned up to work a day early once! I got Grace's first birthday muddled up because they got her passport wrong and it confused me so much that I forgot the right one.
Turned up to church an hour early when they change the clocks here – two years in a row!
