Weeping Endures for the Night, But Joy {Definitely} Comes in the Morning

The morning after I shot the video that I shared yesterday….
here’s what you’d find at our home…
Sub-zero temps…
Even colder wind chill factor
+
Daddy’s in Africa,
+
Emma’s in Africa,
+
Graham’s in Africa,
+
Long days,
+
{pretty short nights in Mom’s opinion}
=
Why not?
Wing clad cherubs pretending they can fly…
Jumping off mama’s bed….
Spiderman watches in the background…

As Elijah prepared to jump for the first time {with the wings on} Isaiah said,
“Can you imagine mom if he just took off and was flying over our heads?”
Isaiah giving it his best shot…

Princesses fly as well ya’ know….

Rock it sister, rock it!!

And who knows??  They might just fly over to
your place for a visit in the coming days…
So keep your eyes on the sky….
Cause you never know!

  1. So very sweet! Love the wings. Hope your days go super fast while your loved ones are gone. Question…noticed in the video Jubilee's arm. What happened to that sweet little thing!
    Praying for you all!!

  2. Oh please do fly here! 🙂

Praying for your family in Africa and that your time keeping the home front safe and stable is UNEVENTFUL! Except for flying, of course! 🙂

  3. Will watch out and gladly have them fly over to us in England!!!! Lovely pictures might not show Samuel as he will want to try and I know he is already good at jumping on my bed, add wings and ….hmmm think bedroom not ready for him or quite big enough…….!
Hope they tire themselves out and give you lots of early bedtimes and lie-ins in the morning.
Always in my thoughts and prayers. xxxxx

  4. wow, does anyone else remember those childhood dreams of being able to fly? I remember being quite old (really, about 10 or 11) when I realised I'd never been able to, and that it was dreams that I had thought were memories!!!!!!!

    I love it!

Brothers and sisters Dont they just have so much fun together. x

  5. Our door is open, coffee/tea is on and we have space for you ALL to stay as long as you like! So come on over and let your cherubs play with ours! (and even stay until the Africa crew comes home) I mean it you know!!

  6. Fly, fly, fly here amytime! We'd have a blast!!!

Praying for lovely, quick, WARM days with your treasures. Hoping you have tons of FUN!

PS our bedrooms are painted almost the same color.:)

  7. Looks like they definitely found their happy thought….

It is really true what Eberhard Arnold said.

"Only those who look with the eyes of children can lose themselves in the object of their wonder".

    I suppose a little pixie dust doesn't hurt either….LOL
