Friday in Uganda & A Surprise!

I had took a whole bunch of beautiful pictures just a few minutes ago….only to find that the internet is much too slow to upload.
argh.
So here’s the update….
Thank you for praying for Dw.  The clots are called “sticky clots” cause lots of clots can keep sticking to the already existing clots.  Please continue to pray that the medicine will dissolve the clots.  Three of his six veins are completely blocked.  Our doctor friend is monitoring the situation closely.
The woman on the team spent time in prayer with me last night after hearing of the blood clots.  It was definitely unnerving to know that I am literally on the opposite side of the world and he is there and the kids are alone.  Thankful for the power of prayer and the faithfulness of Almighty God.
Many of the women on the team fasted this morning for Dw’s healing as well.  I am with the sweetest bunch of bloggy friends in the whole world.  We have laughed and cried together.  We have experienced life like I’ve never experienced it before.  Our hearts were knit before going  on the trip together, but now our hearts are completely bonded.  Amazing.  Unbelievably amazing.
At this moment the women are sorting through the clothes for the wedding tomorrow.  It was originally scheduled for afternoon, but instead is early in the morning.  We will be up before light and downtown to get the street boys decked to the hilt.
Truly humbling.
And not possible, except for all of YOU.
You guys are the BEST!!!
I will write more as soon as possible.
AND
We have a big surprise!!
