Hello from Europe!!

Just a brief update!!
What a sweet treat to meet the team in Texas.  The ladies are all precious.
From Idaho, Indiana, Texas, Missouri, Colorado, Kansas, Minnesota, Oklahoma and from the opposite side of the world!  Seriously, some of the sweetest bunch of ladies this side of heaven…
All taking their days to go to Africa to love on the orphans there….amazing!
We are in Europe right now waiting for our next flight – to Uganda!
There were about 45 bags total {lost count!}.
The flight to Europe was very, very, very, very bumpy.  I heard somewhere that those huge jumbo jets were very smooth.  Haha.  Bless their heart – whoever said that was totally not telling the truth.  We bounced all over.  It was difficult to sleep or eat or read or anything but pray.
And one last evidence of God’s loving protection…
We had a long layover here in Europe.  So we decided to go tour the city while on this 12 hour layover. I had my backpack on me as we rode the Underground subway.  All of a sudden, while standing in the crowd, I felt I should turn my backpack around and wear it on my front.
I gasped when I did.
Two zippers were completely open!!
Inside the once-zippered pouches had been my camera
and in the other pouch a wad of cash.
My heart sunk!
And as I peered inside the pouches…
The wad of cash – still completely there!
And my camera??
Safely sitting exactly in plain view!!
That would be our Miracle-working, Mountain-moving, Awe-inspiring,
Gasp-giving God totally no doubt blinding the eyes of the pick pocket.
{I hope Almighty God sprayed he/she with mace when they unzipped them and looked in! haha}
Truly, if you could have seen how the compartments were gaping completely open, you would know that God obviously had hidden them – even though they were in plain sight.
Please pray us to Uganda on a smooth flight!

Our flight has been delayed and no boarding information. We should already be on plane. Hmmm.

  3. That reminds me of Corrie ten Boom and her Bible that the Lord permitted her to smuggle in with her in concentration camp, He is so good! 🙂 What I suppose is that an angel put his hand in front of the smuggler's eye so he/she just can't see. 🙂

    Awesome! 🙂

  4. That sounds like the Underground I know to me, but also sounds like our God too!
