Thursday AM in Uganda

Thank you for all your prayers.
As a team we are heading over to the orphanage where our son has been living.  We have learned that, although we have been going to see him every time we are here, we are not allowed to tell him that we are adopting him.

So I guess the Lord will just give me the grace to enjoy him from afar. ugh.

We will are going to paint while we are there.
More later.

  1. I have a feeling that without speaking the words, your heart will convey to Elliot's heart, your love for him and your heart's desire to be his mommy. Sometimes words are not necessary. I love you sweet Linny and hope you will share my love with the babies of Uganda. My heart goes with you!

  2. Wow… praying for you heart as you love on him with out being able to spill the beans. I will be praying for the Lord to continue to knit your hearts together as family with Emma, you and him, even though you can't say anything. I am praising God for this time you will have with him… Awesome!!! Can't wait till that precious boy will be home with you!!!

  3. Such a horrible situation that I remember well. God will put that knowledge in his little head already though, so be amazed at how God brings him to you! He'll know you're him Mom!
