Driving….

The car is packed and we the kids are all in their jammies
{well except for the big kids}
and we are on our way.
Jubilee has three appointments today at three different doctors offices out of state.
Two of them are surgeons.
We are prayerful that we will find some answers.
As we were getting ready this morning, Dw mentioned that maybe we could pray over many of the requests that were posted yesterday.
{I love that man of mine!}
So as we drive across the desert know that many of you will be, again, brought before the throne of grace, contending for your needs.
It is a beautiful thing to think of all the people, around the world,
praying over many {if not all} of these concerns.
Today, in the United States, it is also the day that we set aside to pray.
It is the National Day of Prayer.
Calling our nation to repentance and restoration.
If you think of it, pray for the United States {and your nation as well!}
That God’s people would be convicted to truly follow this verse:
“If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”
II Chronicles 7:14

and we’re off….

  1. I wasn't able to post yesterday, but God has been nudging me to post today anyway – asking for prayer. My friend Leann is one of the most godly people I know. God has used her in profound ways in my life and in my walk with Him. She has been going through a divorce for several years now. It is bad. Real bad. Her faith was used against her, and she lost everything, including her children. She continues to trust God for every single provision in her life. But she is beyond weary. Please pray for God to give her rest and to restore her strength. She has been claiming Matthew 11:28 for weeks now – crying out to God for some relief.

    Thank you for your prayers. I am praying for your family today too.

  2. Linny thank you so much for pulling together the body to pray for each others needs. I missed posting my request yesterday, I was home sick – yuck.

    My request is the same as it has been for 18 months, reconcilliation with my 18 year old son. He will be graduating June 4.

    June 23 I will be moving cross country to be with my husband. I have been flying back and forth for 2 years now. It is hard no matter how you look at it.

    I am praying to be reconciled with my boy before his graduation. I would love nothing more than to be able to spend some time with him before joining my husband.

    I know I serve a mighty God and he is at work here.

    Blessings,
    Suzanne

  3. Praying for you all on your journey!
    Rejoicing that we still live in a country that sets aside a day for prayer. Praying that it will stay that way. 🙂

    We are good here… thank you for praying!

    Much love!
    Alycia and family

  4. Lifting up you and your family…especially Jubilee at this time. For our country too…so thankful we have a day of prayer and some praying leaders too….

  5. Lifting you all up as you travel and attend to Jubilee's appointments! May you have sweet family fellowship! Praying for wisdom w/all the doctors involved and a swift healing/protocol for sweet Jubilee! Lifting up again the prayer requests from yesterday… blessings on each of you! So thankful for the prayer yesterday too…thank you so much! Praying unceasingly for this Nation to repent and turn back to the Lord! Can't wait to hear the praise reports! <3

  6. I fasted for the first time yesterday as an adult. I used to do the 40 hr famine to raise money for Africa as a teenager. Thank you for the privileged of doing it with a group of prayer warriors lifting each others burdens in prayer. I prayed i would make it through the list, and just kept going till the end. The funny thing was my prayer request was the last one.

    Will be thinking of you and praying for you today as you travel and visit Dr's. I know your family will be a blessing to the Dr's you meet. Praying they have answers to your questions and that it's not too overwhelming for Jubilee.

    I want to say thank you for changing our lives with your blog. My children(4 yr old triplets) now pray for prayer requests at meals without a second thought. It's normal for them. They talk about "their" street boys all the time. The tell people at pre-school or church about it. They are ambassadors at 4 how awesome is that.They loved the video of Jubilee hearing for the first time. They kept talking about it and telling people about her. After seeing she had 9 cupcakes for her birthday they now want the same. So fun. Thought that might make you smile, aren't kids so funny.
    Blessings,
    Relle & Triplets
