Would You Consider the Knee Team?

The other day I was writing and sharing a need while mentioning how many of you have been committed to praying for the requests that are shared here.  So very many of you have joined in prayer and fasting together for each other’s needs and the needs of orphans around the world!  I mentioned that you guys were so committed with me to kneel before His throne, kind of a Knee Team.

And I thought What if We Really Did Have a Knee Team?
A group of people committed to praying for needs that come up.
So when something happens I just know, “The Knee Team’s gonna’ be all over this!”

Prayer is such a powerful thing, as many, many, many of you know.
And when we join together?  Whooooa.  Even more powerful.
When I am overwhelmed, I know I just need to get away and
have some quiet time with the Lord and spend some time in prayer.
And for the seasons when I am burdened
so deeply about something?
The best thing I can do is fast.
It focuses my thoughts on the Only thing that matters –
Almighty God.
Fasting also brings me peace that truly passes understanding.
Well several of you have written in your comments that you are part of my Knee Team {which I hadn’t even started yet –
you guys are so stinkin’ AWESOME!}.
So a few days ago I asked my sweet bloggy friend
Alexis {who is my blog designer} if she would
be willing to make a badge for sidebars to kind of show some solidarity.
I know there is something powerfully significant in the heavenlies
when we commit together to pray for one another and others.
When thinking about the badge, I prayed about
what kind of picture to put on it.
I tossed around several ideas and
even googled different images.
Then the Lord reminded me of some
pictures I took last July.
And daisies happen to be my most
favorite flower, so what better than a picture I took
{all by my lonesome}
of my favorite flower?
So if you are committed to praying for the prayer requests shared here, please leave a comment on this post that you are officially partnering with me on the Knee Team.  If you do not have a blog, no big deal.  The badge is for those who want to put it on their sidebar calling their friends to be Prayer Warriors with us as well and acknowledging that Prayer is an important part
of the blog world!

We stand together in prayer.
We rejoice together when He moves!

So there’s the badge
{on my sidebar for your sidebar!}.

And at a minimum, leave a comment that you are in!

I don't have a blog, but I'm so thankful I found your blog….and that I can share in the joy, as well as the not-so-good things. Together – we can ALL get through life. Our God Is Able….He Is So Good. Thank you for letting me be a part of this beautiful group.

  6. I'm in!! (And I agree with the request for a post on fasting. We recently talked about it at church and I found that the ideas I grew up with aren't the be-all/end-all. I'd love to hear your thoughts on it.)

  11. Hi Linny, I saw that you left me a comment on my blog "Teacups In The Garden." I just wanted you to know that my other blog "For Such A Time As This" is the blog where I put your button on my side bar. Its a blog I have specifically dedicated to sharing God's word. (Though I do my best to share it on both) Didn't want there to be any confusion:) If for any reason you need to reach me outside of email it would probably be better to leave me a comment at http://www.myfathersgirl.blogspot.com

But you are welcome at either places:)

    Blessings,
    Charlotte
