TM

Sunnymama, your comment on yesterday’s post made me laugh.  Still am actually.
Chad Candace – still laughing about yours too.
And Hezra, Dw got a big kick out of your comment.
Aunt ReRe:  I will repent completely {but first I’m gonna’ have a little fun!}
and
Su, your comment warmed my heart.  Wish you were too.
And yes, I am quite the stink head with my family and
 bestest friends.
I earned the title of “TM”  {Trouble Maker}.
 I can’t help myself.
{I try sooo hard to be good, but obviously,
some days it is just too difficult to truly be good.  Like today.}
So here’s the deal.
If I had been a man {thank you Jesus, God was so gracious and made me a woman! ugh – who would wanna?} I would have wanted to be a detective for my life occupation.  I love mysteries.  I love solving problems {not the Math kind, but situations….ya’ know, figuring it all out….}…
Anyway, I think that most of you have figured out that I give little clues as I write.
And since I cannot possibly tell the special story that awaits in the short amount of time I have this morning,
I will leave a couple little clues.
Just cause I’m 52 and just cause I wanna.

Lord willing, I will begin telling the story tonight –
it’s a beautiful story, laced with Almighty God’s loving finger prints!
And we are stinkin’ tickled PINK around here.
Pink, pink, beautiful pink!

  1. Ahhhh, three x pink, I think I know what you're going to say. So cool! And if I'm wrong, that I know it will be something equally wonderful. I love mysteries too, so thanks for giving us a good one!! 🙂

  2. You do like to keep us guessing, don't you Linny!! I too have wanted to be a detective!!!! Love the idea of solving mysteries. Sending hugs and thinking pink along with you….

  3. I love figuring things out too. : ) My guess is that you're adopting the little cutie that Dwight is jumping rope with in the picture on your blog. Can't wait to hear the news, whatever it is!

  4. So, girls (plural)….and what is that…a jump rope….and really…you're going to make us wait until tonight. I've been checking back all day which began much earlier here in GA than it did for you.

And, I've been thinking and thinking this morning…as we await child number seven AND eight, hopefully coming home before Christmas….

Oh, how I wish our home was bigger….and we have even more money. I would fill it up with orphans and devote my life to discipling them into Jesus freaks!

  5. So…. are you adopting TWO girls? Is that a pink daisy? Daisy and Ruby… hmmm??? A baby and an older child? Jump rope and the swing just makes me think its an older girl 🙂

  6. I know, I know! But I won't say, because technically I probably have insider info (one of your hints totally gave it away to me!). You are going to be quite busy, and I'm sure DW is jumping with joy 😉

  7. Trying to work out your two picture clues… pink flower and a skipping rope (or jump rope)…

    pink rope?

    rink pope?

    girly jump?

    I give up! 🙂

it's a child, right? a girl one? and coming very soon? is it Ruby Grace?? 🙂

Jumping over the ropes? a special loop hole deal where she can skip over the beaurecrats and come over here very quickly?

🙂 maybe I'm way off mark or maybe I'm spot on… guess time will tell 🙂

Have a beautiful day, Linny… I am near Colorado Springs now and was looking on internet about visiting Durango, perhaps go on the Silverton train, I was told it was beautiful. Perhaps in August? I hope to visit you too, God willing, and will email you if it is possible 🙂

  8. Hi Linny, I'm so very excited for you all-and I love your sense of humor/suspence etc. Others usually tease those they are close too, so that must mean you feel close to all of us. Personally, after looking at the word Pink-I think you are getting not one, but three little girls-after all you've given us that word three times. Can't wait to hear.
    Hugs & Blessings, Noreen

  9. Okay, at first I thought you were entering an all-girl jump rope competition but then I remembered your P.I.N.K. blogpost about Carie and Clayton. Obviously they are involved in this latest shenanigan. And the "Who Says…" post on June 2 shows Dw jumping rope with a beautiful princess. My guess is that she is coming to live with Carie and Clayton. Do I win a prize?! Type fast. I can't stand the suspense….

  10. You seem to be writing your own "Choose Your Own Adventure" book! You sure yank our chains and string us on. And may add–on and on and on. By the way pink is a very nice color.

  11. Ok, I'm going to guess that you are bringing home 3 little girls! You said, "Pink, pink, beautiful pink." That's 3 pinks!!! And the jumprope could mean that two little girls twirl the rope while the other one jumps?! 🙂

  12. Ruby has 2 sisters?! They're older? and like to jump rope…and smell wonderful…ahah 😉

I am thrilled for you no matter what it is. I am excited about what the Lord is doing. I am certain that you are mighty woman (of the Lord and then just also…mighty in ways I do not, myself possess)! 🙂

Have a great time today collecting sweet things for Ruby.

  13. Linny, I love to see how God is working in and through your family. I hope you realize what a blessing you are to so many and what a great example you are about what it means to be sold out to Jesus!

I can't wait to hear the details! I am wondering if it has something to do with the princess that your hubby was jumping rope with!

  14. Ok little pink for your baby and three other pinks and a jump rope to represent three older girls. Siblings? Perhaps triplets? I am so on pins and needles. Hope my phone charger is handy as i will be checking often!

  15. Alright, Miss TM, I'm glued to my computer screen! Four pinks…is that four girls coming home? My oh my, either way, I love the excitement! (not loving the suspense, but here's my lesson on patience today…boo :p haha)

  16. I am taking a guess that on June 21st you posted a picture of DW jumping rope with a beautiful little girl and they were holding hands. I am guessing that you are adopting that precious little girl.

    Lani

  17. My guess is that you found out Ruby Grace has a sister or two and you are taking them all. That happened to a friend of mine. Girls are great! (Mine is due in two weeks.)

  18. Hmmm….are you ALSO adopting the "African Princess" that Dw was jumproping with in Africa, around Father's Day? Just a guess…but, hey….it wouldn't surprise me if you were bringing home a half dozen of 'em! Not one little whit! 🙂

Hugs…Nancy in CT(who has an empty nest until the 29th of July…and is HATING it. Could someone please send me a baby? The tinier, the better! 🙂

  19. A little girl! You're adopting an "older child" little girl in addition to Danielle? Your blog posts are like a sweet mystery — 🙂 I can hardly wait to find out the answers!

  20. Last night our Ali said "Are they bringing home more than one?" I said, "I don't know!" She said, "I sure hope so…They're such a fun family!" 🙂

  21. Miss a day to check your blog and see what happens! Sweet blog friend are you adopting the sisters you were doing foster care for? If so spill the beans sweet blog friend! Blessings! Janet

  22. I have a guess….since you put pink, pink, pink and beautiful pink…I'm guessing the 3 other girls that were in the pictures below may be joining the fam?? Or Ruby has 3 sisters over there headed to your home too! 🙂

  23. Well I for one think you can never have enough PINK in the house!!!!! I so miss having any PINK here and can't wait to see what hoops you have been jumping through that has you so tickled!!!!

  24. okay, because you said "Pink, pink, beautiful pink"! does that mean THREE GIRLS!!!???!!! or atleast maybe two??? and must be a junping rope age of a girl? oh your mysteries are fun!!

    Chris in WA state!

  25. Are you bringing home another little girl along with Ruby Grace? Could it possibly be the little girl that DW was holding hands with and jump roping with while in Uganda. Loving her like only a daddy could!

  26. Ok it's almost 11pm here in GA!!! You said maybe tonight. Do I have to lose sleep because I don't know "the rest of the story" as Paul Harvey would say? 🙂
