You Could IF You Wanted…..

I have to talk to Vicki to see if I can share something
that happened today with Karl
but in the meantime, rejoice with me  –
cause it was absolutely super-duper,
fantastic, awesome, miraculous and splendidly wonderful.
I know, I know.
Mean me.
I will find out asap if I can share the excitement.
In the meantime, we had a crazy idea…
So many thousands of you have been praying
so diligently for Karl….
We would love it if you would tell him so!!
How ’bout sending him:
 letters,
 cards,
pictures,
drawings from your kids,
Bible verses written out,
and
anything else wonderful you can think of
to decorate his room!!
That way, everywhere he turns there would be someone telling him
how much they love and care for him,
how thankful they are that he is alive
and how they are praying for him??!!??
How stinkin’ cool would that be?
Here is our church address:
The River Church
860 Plymouth Drive
Durango, CO  81301

Attn:  Karl Hujus
We will be heading to see him on a regular basis…
and Autumn will be flying
{from now on}
each week on her 4 days off
Wasn’t it just like the Lord to provide a job {years ago}
with free flight privileges for that only blue-eyed girl of ours?
He did it knowing that one day the benefit of
working for the airlines would be much
needed ‘for such a time as this’.
Thank you Lord!
It would mean so much to all of us!!
Thank you sooo much!!

God is awesome! He knows all! It is so comforting knowing He uses ALL things for His good!

  3. We'll do it! I'll put something together this evening and put it in the mail tomorrow. Thank you for the wonderful testimony to God's goodness in providing the job He did for Autumn! So wonderful.

Which reminds me to say that TODAY God blessed our family with a major issue for which I had requested prayer during last week's fast: renters for the house we haven't been able to rent out for the last four (expensive) months! Not just any renters, but a seminary family with three daughters, a very responsible, reliable family that we personally know. Thank You, God! Thank *you*, intercessors, for praying. 🙂

    Praying for all!

  4. I have just finished painting him a letter 🙂 I will mail it tomorrow.

Yes it's wonderful that Autumn has free flight privileges, agree with you that it is wonderful of our Lord that this is covered.

Can you check your inbox, I sent you an email.

  5. I love the idea of him getting mail from all over the world,
    something comming from Europe…

I love how you set things in perspective and open my eyes (again)for Gods provision and personal care, that He is in everything and orchestrating everything…really it has encouraged me lately to deal with some tough things.
I am thanking Him for giving Autumn this job that gives her the privilege of seeing and supporting her beloved Karl!

Praying for you all, and rejoicing about his Pizza meal!! (read that post before this one 😉

If you,or anyone reading this, would be willing to pray for my grandma ( in her 90s) She has lost her husband last year and she is very sick and her time is coming soon to meet Jesus, but she is not looking forward to eternity…although she is a Christian and has always pointed us to faith in God.
Most of her eight children have lost their faith and i am praying she might get a glimpse of heaven and that it would be a very powerfull testimony to her children so that they would turn back to Him.

I know this is not a post for prayerrequests but her time may be short. Thanks in advance!
