Brain Surgery at 1:00 pm November 9, 2011

Ruby Grace’s surgery has been set:
Wednesday {tomorrow}
 November 9th, 2011
1:00pm here in Phoenix, Arizona
This will be the first of three brain surgeries Ruby will have done here in Phoenix.  The surgeon has expressed how difficult this very rare surgery will be.  Your prayers for wisdom are deeply needed.
Ruby gets nearly hysterical when  food is withheld from her.  She {of all people I’ve ever met} knows true starvation.   The hours waiting for surgery can be really long, especially to a teeny-tiny little gal who doesn’t understand why we aren’t feeding her.
Thank you for joining us before His throne of Grace.

  1. Oh Linny ~ know we are praying for your precious girl and for wisdom for all the surgeons and specialists involved. Praying their hands are simply a vessel that God Himself is working through. Hang in there and know you are being thought of during this difficult time. Love you, friend! <><

    OXO,
    Tanya

  2. Praying for wisdom for the doctors and for Ruby to know that her hunger is for a greater good. Must be so hard for that little sweetie to understand. And for fortitude for you…3 surgeries is a lot as a mama.

  3. Now I have another surgery to pray for tomorrow. A coworker is having not a serious surgery but none the less, a day surgery. Am praying for you and Ruby. Such a little one to need such a detailed surgery but God is in all of this. Hugs and blessings! Glad you are back to your family! 🙂

  4. We will pray for her not to feel hunger and for her surgeons to be surprised at how easy and well her operation will go. God has brought her so far and moved so many mountians, he will guide the surgeons hands.

  5. I will be in prayer for Ruby, for her surgery, the doctors and nurses as well as your family as you wait. So happy you are all together. Praying that the Great Physician will guide the surgeons hands and give great wisdom.

  8. I'm going to remember Ruby in my prayers before heading to bed tonight, and start up again in the morning. Praying for God to guide the hands of the surgeons, go give them wisdom on how to proceed. Praying He will still Ruby's fear and pain from going without food. And asking Him to give the rest of y'all strength and peace during this time.

  9. You answered my question, which was what time is the surgery. Will be praying for you all throughout the day and till I go to bed which will be when Ruby is in theatre!!!(3pm your time 11pm my time!!)

  10. I will be lifting the name your sweet girl to the Great Physician today. And praying for supernatural wisdom and sure hands for the doctors who will be operating. Will also pray that Ruby will not know hunger while you are waiting. And for peace and strength for all of you.

  11. Praying without ceasing until we hear new news.

We will pray for Ruby to be calm and peaceful while waiting, for her doctors to have the wisdom and knowledge to help her while operating and strength for y'all during the wait.

  12. Praying for the Lords provision. For the Lord to keep sweet Ruby's tummy feeling full while she waits. praying for the Lord to guide the hands and hearts and minds of all who touch Miss Ruby during her surgery. God is so good, and he so loves his children.

  13. Praying for you all sweet Linny. I wish there were something I could physically do but since I can't I'll just ask God to provide all you need when you need it and for Him to hold Ruby close to his heart and fill her tummy so that she doesn't even recognize the nagging of hunger pangs. Love you all, Martha
