Your Ideas

Ugh.

Well, we can’t live feed the wedding as they are getting married in the mountains.  From what I hear the location is about 2,457 miles from civilization.  {Just kidding on the 2, 457 miles, but you get the drift…it’s in Nowhereville and there isn’t even cell service for miles.}

We ARE going to try to video it and then post it on You Tube.  Sooo wish we could do a Live Feed though.

Your ideas to make the day special were so creative and wonderful.

Although some are a bit too much work for this weary mama on short notice, but we will be incorporating a couple of them.

I love, love, loved the idea of an album with pictures of all of YOU who prayed, fasted and interceded for our precious Karl and Autumn.   I think of my bloggy friend Portia, who every time I would look at the prayer clock sheet, there would be her name…or Carol who diligently kept adding more pages to it every so often or Annette and her husband who would pray almost every night at a certain time together.
Each of you guys were such an unbelievable support to all of us.

I remember sitting in the hospital ICU waiting room and looking at the clock on line and seeing that there were sometimes 7 or 8 other people also on the clock looking, picking times, praying….you will seriously probably never understand how much it meant to all of us.  I am certain that for the rest of my life, each time I think about what all of you did, I will start to cry.  My heart overflows with thankfulness.

If you prayed at a certain time, and can remember what your slot was on the prayer sheet, I would love you to include that as well.  In the days ahead we will put all we receive in an album and if possible {if it’s not, we’ll survive} I would love to highlight the times you prayed.  It will be a precious reminder of the body of Christ ministering together from all over the world.  And please{!} put your town/state/province/country on your note….because there is no doubt that people around the world were covering Karl in prayer!

I am going to have to buy waterproof mascara, as I cannot stop tearing up each time I think of their wedding.  Thank you in advance.

It has been waaaay too long since we did a Memorial Box Monday.  I have so many stories to tell and old stories to remember.  And we just have to get back to REMEMBERING.   I know, personally speaking, I need to remember!   I will be back later with a new story.   First though, I’m off to hem wedding dresses for Liberty and Emma.

  1. Linny,

    If you would be willing to trust me with some pictures, I would feel so honored to put together a wedding album. I will be posting pictures of one I am currently working on on my blog if you would like to see it, but if you are willing, please SAVE any little bit of thing from the big day…ribbons, any paper…like leftover invitations, menus, etc…silk flowers…anything that is left over that might be able to be incorporated into the album…you might be surprised what I can use, so please think outside the box. I am going to post pictures and schedule the post to hit on Sunday around noon, because I am surprising this couple with the first part of their album. I will give a few more details if you like the idea…but that is good for now…
