Over in Scotland

I couldn’t resist, I knew you guys would want to know what’s going on over in Scotland.

I mean, seriously, could these pictures get any cuter?
Sweet bloggy friend, Moira, from Scotland sent two pictures the other day.
Seems that after reading What In the World Are We Doing?
Eliana and Malachi and their mom Moira have decided eating beans and rice
is going to become a regular routine and then they will donate
that money ‘saved’ to Frontlines+ Feeding Program
Such a simple, tangible way to change the world from their own home!
No doubt, the pictures enthusiastically portray the joy that comes from denying self
in order to show love to a hungry treasure – just like them.
I am 100% convinced that the seeds of selflessness planted by this mommy in Scotland
will extend for generations,
because that’s just how God works…
Way to change the world Moira, Eliana and Malachi – one meal at a time!
And on behalf of the hungry around the world:
THANK YOU!

much will be required.”

  1. That is so funny Linny because the beans were boiling last night and the rice cooker going… for the Hintz family challenge of Beans and rice for lunch till we go up north for thanksgiving… then we will do a Bread for Life table at church on Orphan Sunday and all the money raised from that at church as well as what the kids and G and I feel led to give will go with us in January for whatever, whoever we or Dwight feels led that needs it:):) You are inspiring many:) Beans and rice on the table now in Oklahoma!:)
