How could I not?
She’s my beautiful

friend who hangs out with her handsome husband

We’ve been friends forever and I had the privilege
of hugging their necks once-upon-a-time
when we were on a road trip…
Rachel’s the kind of friend who texts and
says, “I’ve been praying for —-

and just want you to know.”
Faithful friend, thank you.
And then there’s an honorable mention…
After all –
Miss Jill was 4,000,001
and was the only one to send it to me…
she lives in Canada and
has such a beautifully sweet smile,
how could I not send her something too?

I know I’ve eluded to the fact that life growing
up was lonely. Being a pastor’s wife
wasn’t exactly over-the-top with friends either…

Ohmyword, Linny. Could that picture BE any bigger, LOL! I actually yelped when my screen got taken over by some crazy googly-eyed chick. So bad that Mr. Daddy spun around to check on me (ready, no doubt, to kill whatever spider had made me yelp!)
I love love love that we got to hug you around the neck. And I am so ready for you to come visit Ty again so we can squeeze on Miss Ruby and Nehemiah too.
And I promise… there was no cheating at all. Just lots and lots of refreshing the screen and wondering WHY ON EARTH it was staying stuck on 3,999,999. Because I'm sure about 22 other of us were doing the same thing, ha 🙂
For real, though… I am humbled by the way God has brought us together. For the way that distance does not matter when it comes to prayer. For the way you have blessed me through words and beyond words here. And for your humor.
(I grew up poor on friends too… you can imagine no one wanted to catch cooties from the deaf girl who rode the short school busy), and I am thankful that God redeems with friends like you.
