In the wee hours this morning I was up reading my Bible and spending time with the Lord.   I call it my “whispering” time.   Because during that time, I almost always hear His whispers.

Anyway, this morning a verse popped out at me.  So much so that I had to write about it.

For quite a long while now, there had been something that we had come to the Lord about daily – even multiple times a day.  It was truly a mountain that needed moving.  Many, many, many prayers had been offered for this situation.  But nothing changed.

Now because the Lord loves to hear His word spoken and prayed back to Him, we would remind Him of His promises regarding this situation.    We would remind Him that He always keeps His promises.   We would remind Him that His promises are real.  His promises never change.  His promises endure through whatever circumstance comes our way.  Because He is faithful and He cannot change His mind.

Anyway, in our situation, there was no warning, just one day, suddenly, the mountain began to crumble – all and only because of God’s mighty hand.   We were exuberant!  

It was so powerful.

It was totally life changing.

It was truly a miracle.

There was no denying.  It was only an act of Almighty God.

So this morning, I read a verse that confirmed exactly what had happened in my situation:

“Not one word of all 
the good promises 
that the Lord had made to the 
house of Israel had failed; 
all came to pass.”  Joshua 21:45

Did you catch that? 

Not one of all His good promises failed.  

Not one.  

They all came to pass.

Does that boggle your brain like it does mine?

Every single promise came to pass.

He never, ever can lie.  

Do you know why that is?

Because He is God and He keeps His promises.

No doubt, there are many sweet bloggy friends who can’t fathom 
God keeping His promises.  But it’s true.  

He is faithful. 

He always keeps His promises.  

Every.single.one.

So today, what’s heavy on your heart?

What needs are consuming you?

What struggles are you facing?

God’s promises are true.  They never change.  

When the circumstances look bleak, He’s still working.

When dark storm clouds are bulging with impending danger, hang on – He’s still on the throne and He is still moving on your behalf.

When the deep waters are rising around you, never fear, He is standing on solid ground.

Dig into His word.  Discover His promises.  Write them on paper and post them around your home.  Remind yourself daily….He will do all He set out to do.  Not one component will compromised by His powerful hand.  He is more than able, every, single, time.
