Stephanie’s Story

A young bloggy friend, Stephanie, sent me a note the other day that
made my eyes well with tears.   I asked if it would be okay to share her
story publicly…

I know that sometimes friends can read the stories I share and think,
“Well that’s good for you, but God doesn’t do things like that for me….”

I was thinking that from time to time I would love to share your stories here,
to confirm again, how much He is at work, not just in our lives but in anyone
who asks Him to work…

No doubt, each story will encourage all our hearts!!

So with her permission, here’s her story:

Today my husband and son picked up my son’s 4-wheeler
from being repaired.  They loaded it in the bed of the truck,
secured it and off they went.

Well guess what?

My husband and son forgot to take the key out of the ignition!
They cruised home down country roads for 10 miles,
while the winds whipped as a storm was rolling in.

When they got home they realized their mistake when they
couldn’t get the 4-wheeler out of the truck because there was no key!
I happened to call my husband not knowing any of this was
happening. He answered sounding very discouraged.
He then explained what had happened.

When I heard this, I prayed right then that the Lord place the
key somewhere safe and in plain sight. Having driven 10 miles
on country roads, I knew that this key could be anywhere,
a ditch, a field, etc.

Because of what you’ve talked about Linny, I remembered to ask
specifically what I needed and the good Lord answered that prayer!

Brian and Mason drove 10 miles at 30 miles per hour looking
for that key.  They found it right in the middle of someone’s
driveway IN PLAIN SIGHT{!} and in a safe spot! Praise Jesus!

Our God is amazing….and Stephanie’s story is a testimony to just
how much He loves us and how He longs to be involved in our lives!

He cares so much that He will place keys where they can easily be found –
we just need to ask Him!
