Saturday Update 7/23 – 8:00pm

Karl had a good day today.
The trial without the breathing machine yesterday,
ended up being that he was able to
breath on his own for SEVEN straight hours.
When I wrote the post yesterday,
at that point,
he had only been doing it for less than an hour.
Today they did the same test again and he again was
able to breath on his own for SEVEN hours.
That’s a really good report!
I spent quite a bit of time in the room with him, praying over him and reading scriptures to him.
I told him about all the people praying for him all over the world.
I named some of the places I know you bloggy friends are from:
Ukraine
Ecuador
Korea
Mali, West Africa
Ghana, West Africa
Nigeria, West Africa
Australia
Brazil
India
Uganda
Canada
Mexico
England
France
Kenya
Germany
Norway
Malaysia
Guam
Finland
Sweden
Philippines
Wales
Singapore
and
Ireland
{And Lisa from Ireland, I told my friend today
about your letter, she was dumbfounded – just like I was.
I will write back soon.}
Any one else out there from another country speak now and I will tell Karl!!
Alaska!!
Hawaii!!
and all over the continental United States!
Anyway,
If he was able, I am certain, that he would tell each of every one of you ‘thank you’ from the bottom of his heart.
He is a tenderhearted guy, sensitive, kind to all.
If only, the world was full of Karl Hujus’.
If only.
Please pray:
Please continue to pray that the fluid from the brain will run completely clear.
That his lung infection would clear totally
and
please pray that he would open his eyes voluntarily.

  1. Thank you for the update – continuing to pray….Karl is on our hearts here in MD!!!! God bless you Linny…He sure created a masterpiece when He created you….

    Heather

  2. don't forget Australia, my mum, who comments as Hanna, is from Australia 🙂 (she is unable to leave a comment as she have just left home to take care of her mother for some weeks).

Thought I'd share with you an amazing thing which happened, when you posted about your little Daniella (Ruby Grace) on 6th July, I was in Colorado and left a comment for you, and my mum (in Australia) left a comment for you it was at exact same timing, 4.47pm… I wasn't aware of this until I read the comments the next day… it was awesome as I have not talked to her for a few days. Sometimes little things like this makes me wonder. God's timing or just coincidence? It keeps happening on different things.

    I'll pray for Karl now.

  3. Continuing to pray from Pennsylvania….Keith and Diane Rima who love the Hujus family and feel like we know you, Linny, already. Prayers are coming from Kansas City, MO, as well. Our son, Nick, who was in a car accident and suffered TBI — he now serves full time at IHOP, Intl House of Prayer, and prays the nightwatch 6 nights a week…a miracle-man…well, he's praying for Karl. Through the night. Thanks so much for your postings, I read daily and we are praying throughout each day…and night.

  4. Praying here in Nebraska!
BTW Linny, I wanted to let you know that I'll be flying to Russia to finalize and bring home my little jewel Grace MacKenzie on the 6th. Court is the 10th of August. 🙂

  5. Thanks, Linny, for your faithfulness in providing updates for so many of us! It was a joy to meet you, and I appreciate all you and your family are doing for the Hujus family. Thanks for posting photos of the Thanksgiving dinner~ good to see!
Continuing to lift up Karl and the entire "family" here in Pagosa.
    God bless!

  6. Certainly not stopping the prayers in Alaska!
Don't worry, he'll pull through! I know he has the strength.
He has his own strength, and the God given strength!

  7. Continuing to pray in TX…for Karl's specific needs, for his family and all who love him, and especially for Autumn…may their burdens be lightened by the love and prayers from so many all over the world and may they be shown signs of hope daily from our God of All Hope…may they be blessed with stamina and strength and peace and comfort and encouragement knowing that Karl is being held by God and that he is loved by Him beyond measure.

  8. This is good news! Thank you for the updates. You should be receiving the poster my kiddos made for Karl Monday if you haven't already:) They loved making it and we said special prayers for Karl, Autumn and their families. Can't wait for the next update! God is using Karl's situation in mighty ways…somehow, some way! God Bless you all, Hujus and Saunders families!!!

  9. Thank you for keeping us all posted on Karl's progress. My family and I got word traveling back from Alaska on Sunday. We still aren't back in Pagosa Springs yet and your posts make me feel so much better as he is prayed over by so many. I also posted him on my FB so my faithful prayer warriors would join forces. Give the Hujus Family a big hug and thank you for bringing us all together. God Bless your family as well. Joanne Irons
