Still Waiting

The ICU is closed to family/friends from 6 to 9 both AM and PM.
So while we were waiting to hear what happened at the 7 am attempt to wake Karl, we knew we would likely not hear anything till 9am.  At 9AM we found out that they had not attempted to wake him because the doctor was not able to be there and the doc was insistent that he had to be there.
Made sense to us, only trouble was that we wait more.
SOOOOO, the bright side – MORE time to pray!
They are just now getting ready to start the “sedation vacation”.   So we are going to prayer.
Thank you to all who have left Bible verses for us.  We are reading them and writing them and many have already been posted in his room.  It was such a wonderful idea Autumn had.
As we have prayed together, we have asked the Lord to bless everyone of you 100 fold for interceding for Karl.
And I just peeked at the

72 Hour Prayer Vigil.

wow
I cannot contain my tears.
I have to walk away.
The weeping is coming.
Thank you so much.
No words.

  1. Continuing to pray for Karl, Autumn, you, Karl's family, your family, the medical professionals, the caregivers, the custodians, the cafeteria workers, the other families in the ICU… that the Glory of God be in unmistakable display. Praying for healing, for restoration, for revival. May He grant you peace and comfort in an uncertain time.

  2. so amazing to look at the spreadsheet and WATCH the blank spaces fill as prayer warriors are signing up. SO cool! The Moore family in OK is sending hugs and love and TONS of constant prayer.

  3. Those who sow in tears will reap with songs of joy. He goes out weeping, carrying seed to sow, will return with songs of joy, carrying sheaves with him. Psalm 126:5-6

"I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world." John 16:33

Interceding here in Knoxville, TN on all of your behalf.

  4. tears. . oh Lord. . .do a miracle. .for your glory!! Oh because you love Karl. .but also because you want people in the hospital to get a glimpse of you. . .oh turn lives to you today in that hospital.

  5. Yes! Thank you for letting us be a part! It's such a privilege, Linny! It keeps our prayers knees warmed up, ready to go, ready to move for the Lord! This is what it means to carry one another's burdens, this is what it means to love one another, to intercede on behalf of Karl and all of you…to see the Lord move mountains that only He can. Oh the staff at that hospital is witnessing miracles and for those who believe, it only strengthens them…but for those who don't…it draws them..seeds are being sown on behalf of Karl! To God be the Glory! So so thankful that Karl is apart of your precious family, because you are there for his family…oh how the Lord is using you to hold them up as well! If i was in a crises…i would want you by my side! What a huge blessing! Lifting up our voices for you all in unceasing prayer… waiting right with you..knowing the Lord is at work! Praying Praying Praying!! <3

  6. Continuing in prayer for you, Autumn, Karl, his family, and your family. The God Who Sees You, The God Who Heals, be with all of you in every moment. Perhaps Karl can't run after Jesus in a crowded street and touch the hem of His garment, but the rest of us who are awake can run after Jesus in prayer on Karl's behalf.

  7. I missed the sign ups but haven't stopped praying since I read all of your posts last night. "yet, with respect to the promise of God, he did not waver in unbelief but grew strong in faith, giving glory to God, (Romans 4:20 NASB)"
