Movin’ In…

Just a quick update from Vicki…
Karl has moved into his new room.
The word is that the new room is big.
He did well on the flight.
There is family housing on site for Karl’s family and Autumn {when any/all of them can be there}.
Not sure what tomorrow holds {we’ve heard lots of testing}.
Soon they hope to remove Karl’s trach or change it to a different type that would allow him to speak.
Last night, in the middle of the night, Karl pulled out his trach and threw it on the floor.  I’m thinkin’ he doesn’t like it much!

Anyway, let’s pray they can change/remove that trach soon!
We are sooooo thankful that Karl is there!
Thank you so much for all your prayers – don’t stop!
Seriously, to know that just 3.5 weeks ago things were very uncertain, this is beyond amazing.
And on that thankful note….this chica has been up since 3:45am….
so before I start making absolutely no sense at all…
Nite nite from Colorado….

  1. Praying for Karl and that the testing goes well and that they can remove it so he can speak. I am sure that is frustrating. Peace and rest to you Linny. L

  2. I am so happy to hear that Karl is moved and settling in. We started praying about that aweful trach last week and will not stop praying about it until God allows it to be moved.

Hoping your rest is deep and sweet,
    Sonja

  3. Prayers for continuted healing and smooth paths and that every doctor and nurse and aid and worker that comes into Karl's room be blessed and annointed from the Lord.

  4. What great news! I've been out of the bloggy world for a week almost until now since I had to get a new hard drive! Such awesome miracles and am excited to be praying for Karl. Happy my computer is up again to continue to check progress:)

  5. So glad to read this update and to know that the flight was good.Praying that the trach can be removed soon and that he will be able to talk with you.It will be neat to hear how God has ministered to him specifically during this time.I don't blame him for ripping out the trach I would probably be wanting to do the same thing.

  6. My heart is so thankful Karl's flight went well, and that he is getting into his new surroundings. I still can't wrap my mind around the trauma of all of this for each one of you. My heart is so heavy – but so full of love and prayers. We have seen so many miracles performed in the past three weeks – and they are going to continue. "He is able, He is able, I know He is able, I know our Lord is able to carry everyone through." Standing together for Karl – we will not be moved. Praying in Missouri. xoxoxo
