And So That’s What Happens…

….when your phone freezes in the middle of typing a little blog post.
So sorry.
And talk about a tad frustrated at that!
Emmy and I left early this morning to drive to Denver.  We were on the road about 5:30am to go get a new passport, since she turned 18, she needs a new one.
It’s 361 miles to the Passport Agency one way.
We made it back home at 11:30 pm.
We did stop to visit with Karl for a bit.
Autumn was there and Graham had gone up with her
and we brought Graham back with us.
Karl is doing A.M.A.Z.I.N.G.
SERIOUSLY!
It is beyond a miracle!
“Thrilled” would be an understatement.
Faithful God.
And you, my sweet bloggy friends, are part of Karl’s miracle.
The power of prayer as God moves with His healing and restoring touch.
Unbelievable.
Please keep praying – for complete healing.
I made a video to show Dw.
Dw’s asleep, but I can’t wait till morning so he can see for himself.
And…
Oooops, almost forgot to mention.
We needed the passport pronto.
Emma and I leave on Sunday to begin the journey to bring {at least} Ruby Grace home.
More about that, after I get some sleep!!
Nite-nite from Southwest Colorado!

  1. OH! WOW!! So much exciting news!!! I am so so SO glad for all of it. I want you to know we are still praying even though we aren't commenting much. We may be getting our sweet new ones home soon, so we are BUSY!! Never too bust to pray(we do that while we work, lol) but we aren't getting much time to comment these days! Love you lots!

  2. I was thinking "Ummm, isn't there a closer post office or county clerk or such?" Then I got to the end. WOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOO! I had the biggest smile when I read that she's coming home soon!

  3. YAYYYYYYY!!!!!!!! God does some pretty amazing stuff. Thanks for letting us prayerfully go on this journey with you. That is the second big answer to prayer I have heard in 12 hours!

  4. Wonderful news on all fronts. I am so happy for you but especially for precious Ruby Grace (at least :-). Praying the prayer that never fails, "thy will be done." 6. The CPS workers are going to complete the investigation into my foster child's family before they send him (and his siblings) home. It's a small step, but were hoping things will turn out the best way possibly for those children. So many people involved are so worried for their saftey, but nothing seems to be changing for the better yet, us foster parents and some of the kids other family just want what's the safest and best for the children's well being, but the authorities involved think the parents are just fine and all their drug/alcohol, pedofile, abuse and neglect issues are suddenly going to be gone over night. We are praying so hard the people responsible will have the knowledge and power to change this coarse and make the very best decisions for the well being of these innocent children. If it's God's will to send them back we hope and pray that they will be safe and sound, and they parents have changed their evil ways, for the sake of the children. We would love to adopt our foster child if that's God plan, we love him very much and want what best for him and his siblings. So please Pray for all the best things to happen for the kids and the people who love them. We are also waiting for God to send us a baby girl who weve been praying for so many years now. I hope He will send us that blessed little girl and that my husband says yes like he's done with such excitiement in the past. Our hearts are broken and torn apart from all of the losses we've had in the past, and the one we may soon face with lossing our foster son very soon. And hoping he's meant to stay here with us, if that's God's plan. We just hope he's safe and happy… So please help me pray for the best and safest place for those children…. and for us to finally be able to adopt a baby girl, and hopefully him… Thank You God for all the blessings you've given us, we so appreciate every single one of them, we just want to share our home and all our love with this little boy and hoping a baby sister soon… <3
