Jubilee had her recheck with the surgeon today. He found she still has the infection so he called in a high powered antibiotic that a special pharmacy had to compound just for her. We gave it to her a few minutes ago and she threw it up within seconds.
Anyway, we are heading to Kala’s home for dinner with her family. Kala and her family are the ones running the Orphan Ware warehouse. It’s going to be so exciting to see the start of what God is going to do through you to feed the orphan!
On a completely different note, there is something we found out this morning that is weighing heavy on our hearts. I will share as soon as I have internet and my laptop.
But in the meantime, I am calling a day of prayer and fasting for Friday. Let’s bear together each others burdens and watch and see how God moves on behalf of each need.
Hi Linny,
I hope you receive this email promptly. I have posted once before but love following your blog. We are in the process of adopting two ugandan treasures!
🙂 I am a nurse and hope you do not mind me posting this…Please make sure her doctor knows that she threw up the antibiotic, if she does not have it in her system she could get very very sick. They may be able to come up with an alternative medicine that she can tolerate better… but she cannot affford to miss a dose….
Praying for a speedy God filled recovery…
In Christ,
Sarah
Praying already!
love to you all,
Alycia
p.s. we survived Tropical Storm Lee! 🙂
Sounds great! I will e-mail you for the knee team…but please pray for some health issues I am having (they think it's my heart).
Thank you,
Brooke

Great timing! Friday is my mom's 53rd birthday. I was planning on fasting for her healing from pancreatic cancer, so I'm 'in' !
I will fast and pray on Friday. Praying for Jubilee and the infection to be gone, Karl and your girls to come home. Sending love your way.
You know I am in, Linny!!!
Praying for Jubilee and that she keeps some of those meds down… and waiting for more news on your other needs.
Praying for Jubilee's sensitive tummy 🙁 I think about your family often and every time I do I pray.
Coming out of lurkingville to tell you how much you all are in our prayers. Dear friends just had their 20 year old son come through brain surgery and now the long healing. I am asking Jesus to send peace through the viens of you and this other mother. It is all my Mamma's heart can stand just to think of it and Jubilee, Karl, and Jon are not even mine.
Hugs to you , sweet Linny, who always finds a chamber in your heart for more.

Hi Linn!! I'm so behind on reading your blog!! Who knew that I would have LESS time to read it in my retirement than I did when I was working full time???!!!
Any way, count me in for fasting/praying on Friday. Looking forward to it!!
