Patience

You all are so funny!  Your comments have had me laughing and Linny too when I read them to her.

But guess what?   I talked with Linny an hour ago.  The drive home took 4 hours, not 2+ and then the internet office was closed.  So…. she has written the post but won’t be able to post it until tomorrow morning.

She was exhausted from the long ordeal – pray for strength as the fumes are awful as pollution control is not existent.  It  can wreak havoc with the best of us, not to mention with someone with all those auto-immune diseases.

Best estimate – she will post about 11 – 12 o’clock Mountain time…. or, then again, maybe not!  Patience PCS’ers Patience!

I know this… tomorrow we need to fast!  Just sayin… dw

  1. Hi! I'm a long time lurker, first time leaving a comment. Just at the moment when I was checking in for Linny's update and reading "Patience," my son yelled to me to go outside to see the beautiful rainbow. God's Promise to each of us and Sarah Jane & Ruby! I can't wait to read all about God's blessings on Sarah Jane and Ruby. Your family continues to be in my prayers. A beautiful rainbow for Sarah!

  2. Thanks now you have have the world having PCS withdrawls.. Great job!! I hope you have an anticdote ready hehe.

As I have said before, I cannot fast due to medical reasons, but I promise to pray as fervently as ever!!!

Love for your whole family… A friendly reminder that I haven't forgotten Karl either. Praying for your WHOLE family including Karl, Sarah Jane and Ruby Grace!!!

Also during the fast tomorrow could you include a tiny prayer in there for me and my son (waiting in EE) They recently changed the laws which will delay his adoption by a YEAR!! I am praying for (as Linny would say) mountains to be moved s that I can bring my son home. They are reevaluating the "new law" on Oct 11…. Pray for a favorable outcome!

  4. Ok…1 hour later and I am back looking for the story.

*sigh* I guess I will have to wait and continue stalking!

I'm in for the fasting and praying tommrow!

DW, can you do a post like Linny does at midnight so anyone who would like can join and list their praise/request?

I was thinking that after this journey with Linny, DW and family we might have to have a PCS syndrome support group retreat…maybe at their home?!?!

    hehehe, just kidding

  5. Hey she wouldn't even reveal in her text to me today!!! She is such a strong willed lady!!!! And we will have to have a serious chat about that when she gets home! I am sitting on the edge of my seat waiting to hear about our God's miracle for all to see and hear about!!

  6. Hoping to hear great news. Keeping you in my prayers, too. I know of another family who is adopting from Kampala. They arrived there today and will be there for six weeks! If you see a white family running around with a little girl and two little boys (and the woman is preggo),then you know who I am talking about. LOL! So much good stuff going on there, thanks to our Awesome God! Praying for you all!!!

  7. I will be fasting tomorrow.

I already had plans to fast tomorrow…for our adoption, for God's provision as we continue fundraising, and for perfect timing….trusting Jesus, while hopeful for LOA this week….desiring to bring our boys home before Christmas.

I will be praying and fasting for your treasures and thanking God for the miracles He has already in the making!
