Ministering Hands…

It is a wonderful blessing to have ministered
so many years now in Uganda…
because
we have special friends in so many parts of it!
Yesterday a pastor who has spent time with my sweet hubby came to the hospital {driving a distance} just to meet me and pray for our sweet baby girl.
He anointed her with oil and prayed powerful words
of healing and life over her.
This same man is someone we are partnering
 with to serve in Uganda.
{Very exciting and details to follow soon!}

God has allowed him to have great influence
with pastors and leaders though-out Eastern Africa as well.
It was a wonderful pleasure for him to take his time to come spend time with us at the hospital  – this man who has had opportunity to know my husband and minister with him in Uganda.  It was pretty fun to tell this pastor that my husband is the same man in our home as he is ministering {love that man of mine!}.
I am so grateful Pastor R. came.
Such a delightful blessing and imagine that{!}
 he shares our hearts for the orphan….
Little Miss R. is healing,
although her fever persists.
Thankful for all the prayers coming from all over the world.
I called Dw to tell him some sweet news.
Faithful God.
Hearing our prayers.
He moves mountains because He loves us so!

  6. Must say the first thing I noticed in this post was that the wooden supports at the end of the beds looked like crosses. I had to look again to try and see what they really were. Jesus is there!!!
    How wonderful God is to provide people to visit and pray just when you need them so much. Fruit is so amazing. Most of us wont see it till we get to glory.

  7. So happy to hear that God is moving mountains. What a blessing.

    Request here in New England – We need a HUGE mountain moved in the near future for the two orphan daughters who have been here for over a year….

    Please Lord, move this mountain so that I can tell them that…they are home!

    Thanks to anyone who prays for M & K.

  8. Praying for Ruby Grace's healing, Sarah's mountains to be moved, praying for your little ones at home missing Mom, and peace for you, DW, and your wonderful family in the mean time!

  9. Joyful news Linny! thank you thank you thank you Jesus!!!! give her kisses from us all, her hands, her feet, her sweet face. If i may offer an idea that for me in my work with severely ill little ones, take a little cup of white vinegar and add same amount of water lukewarm, around body temp and soak her socks in it, wring out and put on her feet. every 5-10 min repeat. the vinegar draws the fever out and the socks practically steam so no worries about catching chills from wet tootsies! hope that is a help and can make her more comfortable and quicken her progress toward her shunt! mountains of love from Montana! ((<3))

  10. You, Linny, are the queen of teasers!! We'll wait, but of course we don't have much choice, do we?? 😉
    Continuing to pray for sweet Ruby Grace. God is in control. Enjoy your time cuddling her!

  11. ok…it's amazing how in your post you are describing love as your motivition for her…and it was the first thing I saw when I scrolled down to the post…the words "love" on her little clothes..I saw that even before I saw the title of your post and smiled the whole way through reading your post wondering if you realized that the word "love" was branded across her chest in that picture. *Love* it!! He is so amazing. Bless you, bless you, bless you as you spread the fragrance of His love in Uganda…in more ways than one!
