Ruby needs your prayers!

Quick Update:  Linn took Ruby to the international doctors today.   She has been throwing up a great deal and has a high fever.  We know that she has an infection in the brain.  They gave her an IV and are treating her for Meningitis as a worst case scenario.

This of course is very concerning to us and we are updating you so you can pray specifically.

Linn just called in the middle of her night to tell me that Ruby has been throwing up throughout the night.   Thank you for your continued prayers.  dw

  1. Thanks for letting us know! I will definitely be praying – got a few hours of awake-time left here in New Zealand.

    Felt this for Linny:

His grace is SUFFICIENT for her – for HIS POWER is made perfect in weakness.

Standing with you in the midst of the raging storm – and speaking "Still, be calm" to the wind and the waves.

    In HIS love,
    Isabel

  2. Praying for sweet Ruby. Great Physician, hear our prayers and grant this sweet child a miracle of your healing grace. We ask strength and peace for Linny & Emma and complete healing for Ruby. And we ask in the Name above all Names, the mighty Name of Jesus!

  3. Praying for your sweet Ruby Grace!

    God's blessings on your journey!

Hugs to both of you… I mean all three of you!
    Oh heck group hug!
    Congratulations!

  4. So, so, so sorry to hear this! Praying for Ruby's infection to be gone! Stay strong, guys – God is in this, and He is FOR us – always. He is faithful and He loves that little girl so much…..be strong….I know it's hard, DW, when you are so far away and feel so helpless. But God is awake when you cannot be……I know you know this, but sometimes it helps to just hear it……love to all.

  5. Dear Uganda friend… we (the team and I) have been checking for updates as we have had internet access. We gave a cheer as we read that Ruby is now yours!! Amazing!! We just arrived back in the US this morning. So thankful for how God orchestrated our meeting. We have been praying for you daily, and will continue! We serve an almighty God. He has been in every detail of our trip… we adopted the motto "Expect the Unexpected" as that seemed to be the on-going theme of our trip… so also to you… i say – "Expect the Unexpected" He LOVES to show up in the ways we would NEVER expect!! Loving you from a far!
    Diana
