  1. Oh what a precious and beautifuul little darling she is!!!!!
    Enjoy Linny!
Praying you home, so you can share her cuteness with her Daddy and brothers and sisters in real life.
    Love Adriana

  2. I am astounded by the amazing transformation of this sweet baby girl since you've been there! Praise God for your sweet family that has already provided so much healing to this little one. Perfect example of why the Bible say that He puts the lonely in families.

  3. Linny, I am so happy for you all. Ruby Grace is beautiful and looks just like a Colorado girl in her jean skirt. I just know God is going to cause her to thrive and heal quickly in your family. What a blessing you are to her as I know she is to you. Love to you sweets! Martha

  4. What a DOLL! I have been following your posts and was particularly drawn to your blog because of Ruby. I don't even know her and I love her! I can not tell you how incredible it is to see the picture of your life pursuing the Lord and being available to him in ALL circumstances even the age when people try to coast. I think I read a recent post of yours where you talked about time and how all of our time is HIS and what really is so important for us to do instead of give it back to him. I love it and love seeing your family. We have only adopted one child, (domestically,) so far but I am hoping we have the opportunity to get one or two more, Lord willing. Thanks SO much for sharing and inviting others into God's story that you have been so obedient to live out!

  5. Oh Gracious…she is beautiful! She hardly looks like the girl from the pic when DW first met her…Love does such wonderful things; thank you God for being our example! I wish I could hold her and hug you!

  6. I just left a comment but was in my gmail account instead of blogger…just wanted you to know it was from me and not whatever it might say; I guess I don't know. I had said in my last sentence I wish I could hold her and hug you…anywho…Hugs to you all!
    God Bless,
    Carrie

  7. AWWWWW! She is absolutely PRECIOUS!!! I want one just like her! Please pray for my family that my husband and children would be open to adoption. I know I am going to want to start the process as soon as I get home from my Spring trip to Uganda! I will not be able to forget the things I will see. I can't forget. God doesn't want me to forget. I truly believe He wants me to act. We have plenty of necessities to share!

  8. Linny, Ms. Ruby is absolutely gorgeous and you can definitely see what the love of a family does for a child. Praying for healing for all your family and that God moves mountains quickly. Also, lifting up Sarah Jane as well.

  9. Oh Father! You are so good! So merciful and so full of great love!! Thank you for this precious treasure!
    Psalm 113
The Majesty and Condescension of God!
Praise the LORD! Praise, O servants of the LORD,
Praise the name of the LORD!
Blessed be the name of the LORD
From this time forth and forevermore!
From the rising of the sun to its going down
The LORD’s name is to be praised.
The LORD is high above all nations,
    His glory above the heavens.
Who is like the LORD our God,
    Who dwells on high,
    Who humbles Himself to behold
The things that are in the heavens and in the earth?
He raises the poor out of the dust,
And lifts the needy out of the ash heap,
That He may seat him/her with princes—
With the princes of His people.
He grants the barren woman a home,
Like a joyful mother of (many!) children.
    Praise the LORD!

Praising Him today for all the blessings flowing to you and your treasures! Cutest smile ever! <3

  10. She looks wonderful! So much better than the first pics you posted of her. Look what love can do! It is funny- my 3 and 5 year olds saw that pic of her and they said "look that baby is stuck to the ceiling!" haha

  11. SO CUTE!! Yes, I can see her (and you!) smilin'. (:
She really looks SO different than she did in the first pictures you shared with us a while back.
It's amazing what the love of a momma and a family can do for a little one (and a big one, too).
Still praying for your arduous journey and for your whole family.

  12. She is just precious! What a stylin' little girl today – so cute! I know you are missing your other children and have been through so much for this little girl and I know equally as well that she is well worth it all. So few people know those sorts of things and it's a shame. God bless little Ruby today and heal her little body.

  13. I have been really under the weather lately and haven't read your blog. My girls and I have been praying for miracles to happen, but I didn't know until now that God has opened doors for you. Praise the Lord. My little girls are going to be so, so happy. I almost want to go wake them up to tell them how God has allowed Ruby Grace to be adopted. They are going to cheer and dance when they hear. We love you and we will keep praying.

  14. Had to keep from weeping at this picture.

In the middle of awful sadness, God brings these beautiful glimpses of what His love looks like. And it looks an awful lot like that happy contented smile on your littlest girl's face.

(I'm guessing you or Emmy were making that face right back at her 🙂

  15. Sweet Ruby Grace, you beautiful girl! How can I love you?! I've never met you. I'm not the mommy God planned for you before the foundation of the earth was laid. Love is an amazing thing, Little One. Hearts can be moved to love complete strangers, in the name of the Lord. How can I love you? Because God loves you and has allowed your parents, your family, to share your journey home. Besides, looking at you, what's not to love?
Linny & Dwight, thank you for allowing us to love your sweet baby, even if from a distance, and pray for her very life! May God be glorified in ALL of this. And her little outfit is adorable…and she feels the love!
    Continuing to pray.

  16. Aw, what a cutie! I miss you Miss Linny and your sweet Emma too! But it is rather nice to be back in America, crazy four year old and all. Praying you all are soon to follow.
