Phoenix Children’s

First, Linny and I want to thank all of you for your prayers getting the girls home.  There were some amazing moments which I will allow Linny to share in the future.   A good chance this story will be one that turns into a book of God’s amazing faithfulness!  You all are so very much a part of bringing Ruby home through your prayers.  Thank you – thank you- thank you!

As you know from Linn’s previous post we took Ruby to “Phoenix Children’s Hospital” last evening after we had a small celebration.  Our journey to bring Ruby home is not quite finished yet.   The hospital is amazing, doctors excellent, and the staff have been very good to us.

Ruby is making an impact – everyone who meets her loves her!

I left the hospital and got “home” and to bed by about 4 am slept to 7 and Linn stayed over night and hasn’t left yet.  Ruby has had a number of tests, CT Scan, sedated MRI with contrast, and blood work.   She’s a fighter and so far up to the fight.

Ruby has a long road ahead of her and so we would appreciate your continued intercession on her behalf.   There is a possibility of surgery on Monday, but the question of an infection has to be settled first.  The doctors need wisdom and we need wisdom.

BTW – she loves my singing, “Oh how I love Jesus”, and…. I’m her favorite!  (This may be the last you hear from me!!)

Have a super Sunday celebrating the King!

  11. I am very glad that you are home with your family and that Ruby is able to get the treatment she needs, but I am very confused about Sarah Jane? Did I miss a post? I thought she was coming too but you haven't mentioned her since her grandmother showed up, I hope that I am not asking about something painful, or something that I should leave alone, just wondering.
Thank you for sharing your life with us. (even if you choose to not share this detail)
