Surgery Tomorrow {Saturday} 11/19/2011

I am so thankful for the prayer time today.
Ruby has slept better today and eaten a bit better.
Autumn and Karl came yesterday to visit for 3 days.
They brought our sweet S as too.
I was so excited when I knew they were coming
 since I had not seen
any of them since September.
Such a blessing to see them all and to have the family kind of together after so long!
Autumn loved meeting her baby sister and Miss Ruby Grace
gave a few little smiles to her big sis –
which tickled Autumn to pieces.
So, as it sits at the moment, the surgeon is planning on
surgery in the morning at 10:00am.
Your prayers will be greatly appreciated.
Three brain surgeries in 10 days seems a bit daunting to this mama.

  1. Today was my first time fasting. I am so busy on Fridays that having my stomach grumble was such an excellent reminder to pause for a few seconds and pray from little Ruby Grace

  2. Wonderful news to hear about Karl and Autumn visiting 🙂

I am starting fasting for Ruby Grace right now and will be fasting throughout her surgery.

I hope Jubilee is doing alright, she is so sweet 🙂

  3. What a sweet blog, it was great to read that Amber and Karl were able to visit!

Praying that surgery goes well for Ruby Grace. Praying that those waiting will be comforted with peace and rest!

  4. Karl being in Ruby's Arizona hospital room is surely a reminder that God does the impossible !!!!!!!
Believing for the same miracles for Ruby. Love to you all

  5. Praise God from whom all blessings flow! He has done great things. I awoke and am praying and weeping for Ruby this AM. May the lion guard her life fiercely and the lamb soothe and comfort her and you.
    Peace & Blessings,
    Maureen

  6. I dont comment often but read your blog EVERY.SINGLE.DAY. : ) But I wanted you to know that I do pray. Every day. Your family has touched my life in so many ways. I guess in a sense your trials have kept me closer to the Lord. So thank you! HOW GREAT IS THAT…That Karl and Autumn were able to come to you. I agree with Mrs.C, what an awesome reminder and encourgement to you all how God can accomplish what seems impossible. Sending love to you all. God Bless. : )

  7. We wanted you to know Ruby Grace has been in our petitions. So much so that when we sent out a prayer request to hundreds of family and friends for our daughter in China last night, we sent a prayer for your precious blessing as well. It is a privilege to pray along side you. Thank you for allowing us to join in your petitions to God.

  8. Praying for your tiniest treasure today, and for her mama and daddy –and brothers and sisters, as you all wait.

Lord please bring healing to your precious Ruby Grace. Hold her close, and give wisdom to all who are caring for this treasure. Oh Lord thank you that you are Jehovah Rapha, the One Who Heals! Thank you that Ruby Grace is tucked safely under Your wing. In Jesus Name, Amen.

Love you guys! (Praising Him for Karl and Autumn's visit, wow!)

  9. I've wondered how Karl is doing and hearing that he and Autumn came together just brings tears to my eyes! God has worked such a miracle in his life…and oh the testimony that HE has provided for Karl to share and bring others to HIS loving arms! I'm a bit confused by the statement…"They brought our sweet S as too."????

  10. still praying here. for all of you. I'm so glad Autumn (and KARL!!!) got to come.

How is the fluid from the misplaced PICC line? I've been praying for that situation. Assuming since surgery is schedule it's better (maybe I just really want that to be true, as it's been my prayer for the Lord to just evaporate it supernaturally out of her sweet body and for NO damage).

Love from Oklahoma Linny! I adore your sweet family. Thank you once again for continuing to be a mentor of faith to me!

  11. Praise the Lord that Miss. Ruby Grace slept better and ate better. Ahh Praise God for the small and the big. I love little Ruby Grace! I will now send off my text to my prayer warriors here in Petaluma, CA and we will pray through today for her surgery. You are in our hearts. We are at the throne for all of you!

What a wonderful picture it must be to have all your little treasures there at the hospital loving on Little Ruby. What a beautiful testimony it must be to the staff at the hospital. I pray the Spirit of Christ would be undeniable and people would see Jesus and KNOW He is GOD!!!

  12. Unceasing prayers for your Ruby Grace and God is obviously hearing them as she is able to have surgery! That is a blessing!!!

So glad you got your visit with Autumn and Karl! God is good!!!

  13. Praising God that Karl and Autumn came to visit. Praying for your sweet baby girl, and her surgeons.
Praying for your Mama heart… i can imagine that this is tough on you.
    Love you,
    Alycia
